Before caring for a pet, I would like to know their feeding schedule, any medical needs, their temperament, and favorite activities. I’d also like to know any house rules and emergency contacts to ensure their safety and comfort.
A typical day
I’ll tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! For dogs, I’ll go on fun walks, play fetch, and even work on some basic training skills. High-energy pups will get playtime and exercise, while older dogs can enjoy leisurely strolls and gentle affection. For cats, I’ll engage them with interactive toys, laser pointers, and plenty of cuddles (if they’re the affectionate type). Birds and small animals will get enrichment through play, treats, and safe handling. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, stimulated, and loved while their owner is away!

As a lifelong animal lover, pet owner, and advocate, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and species. I currently have three cats in college and four dogs at home, and I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, with both of my parents being veterinarians. My experience extends beyond personal pet care—I have volunteered at veterinary clinics and rescue centers, gaining valuable skills in handling and caring for animals in various situations. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, and rodents. I am also an amateur dog trainer, allowing me to reinforce good behavior and provide enriching activities for pets under my care. Whether it’s administering basic care, ensuring companionship, or providing structured play and exercise, I am committed to treating every pet as if they were my own.
