Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, and I’ve owned pets my entire life. I also worked at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, where I cared for and worked around horses and other animals daily, giving me hands-on experience in a professional animal care environment. In addition, I have experience as a veterinary technician, where I assisted with handling animals, monitoring their health, administering medications under veterinary supervision, and helping keep pets comfortable during visits. I’ve also studied animal health and care through school, which has given me a strong understanding of pet behavior, safety, and basic medical needs. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

We had Jonah watch our dogs while we were out of town, and I seriously couldn’t recommend him enough! You can tell right away that he genuinely loves animals. He kept us updated with pictures and check-ins, which made being away so much easier. Our dogs absolutely loved him, and when we got home they were happy, relaxed, and had clearly been well taken care of. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were with someone who has experience working with animals and a background as a vet tech. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, caring, and will treat your pets like they’re his own, definitely book with Jonah. We’ll 100% be using him again!

I work for myself, which allows me to create a flexible schedule and provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Because I have control over my hours, I can often accommodate last-minute requests, extended visits, and consistent routines. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by providing dependable, compassionate care and keeping you updated every step of the way.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With experience as a veterinary technician and years of working with animals, I know how to recognize changes in behavior, safely administer medications if needed, and provide calm, compassionate care. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, you can expect plenty of love, attention, exercise, and photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.
A typical day
I will take them on walks, and sometimes if they do well in the car they will run errands with me! I treat every pet as I would my own, and make sure they feel their safest and most comfortable in my care!
