I will work with you and your schedule to figure out a plan that works best for you! Growing up with so many animals, I will show your doggo affection and make sure it is getting the proper care and stimulation! I know how to tell when a dog wants to rest versus play/engage, so your dog will always be happy with me. Communication and transparency is also crucial when caring for your dog, so I will always send photos/text updates throughout the day and convey any issues that arise!

Look no further!!! Jonah is hands down the best person to care for your furry friend. Not only does he have years of experience living with over 10 dogs and cats, but he will approach taking care of your animal as if they were his own with a level attention you won’t get from other sitters. Every time he comes over to take Boba, my little terrier mix, on a walk she runs over to him over the moon excited to see him again. He has also been great for drop-in visits and anytime I need overnight boarding. He’s reliable, always on time and goes above and beyond. I mean he’s studying to be a doctor!!! So you can rest assured your animal is going to have so much fun with Jonah!
Jonah has cared for my 4 dogs on many occasions while he was at college. He is very knowledgeable about dog care and is competent handling dogs of all types. He is prompt and will do exactly what is asked. He is also comfortable administering oral medication if necessary. I can recommend him without reservation! I have a small fenced in yard and am within walking distance from India point park and Gano St dog park. I have a dog gate if necessary and an overall very spacious apartment for your fur baby :)
A typical day
When your dog comes home after a walk and just wants to sleep, I know that we had a successful day of play/energy release! I love walking dogs around Fox Point, India Point Park and College Hill. I understand the importance of physical activity and brain stimulation for dogs, so I will always work those components into our time together. If you want me to work on any sort of training, I am all for positive reinforcement in teaching your doggie new tricks!

- Let me know if your dog has any special behaviors such as aggression (towards other dogs/children/certain sexes/etc) or leash reactivity. From hyperactive German shepherds to skiddish chihuahuas, I have worked with various types of dogs; however, please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any unique needs/tendencies.
