A Convenient, Fun Home Away From Home 🐾 . I have a pet-friendly home with a large, fenced-in yard, located just one mile from Downtown Athens and UGA. It’s a great setup for friendly, social dogs who enjoy having room to play, relax, and get some exercise during the day. I work from home, so I’m able to provide a comfortable home environment for dogs throughout the day. . And when your dog is ready for a little adventure, I’m happy to take them out for walks or outings at places like Dudley Park or Sandy Creek Park. 🐕🌳 . Why this works well 🏡 Large fenced yard — Plenty of room for your pup to play, explore, and burn off some energy. 💻 I work from home — Your dog gets to spend the day in a home environment rather than a traditional kennel or facility. 🌳 Adventure time — Dogs who enjoy getting out and about can join me for walks and adventures at Dudley Park, Sandy Creek Park, and other nearby spots. 📍 Super convenient location — Just one mile from Downtown Athens and UGA. Drop your pup off on your way to work, school, or downtown and pick them up whenever it works for you. 🔑 Flexible drop-off & pickup — I work from home, but if I happen to miss you, I have keyless entry makes it easy to come and go, even if I’m briefly away from home. ⏰ Daytime care — My preference is daytime stays between 7 AM and 9 PM, making this especially convenient for students and anyone working near downtown. Overnight stays can also be accommodated when needed. . A few important requirements 🐶 . To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience: • Meet & greets are required before the first stay so we can make sure your dog is comfortable here and gets along well with other dogs. • I only accept friendly, social dogs who are comfortable around people and other dogs. • No aggressive dogs, please. • Dogs must be spayed/neutered and current on all vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations will be requested before the first stay. My goal is to make dog care easy and convenient for you while giving your pup a safe, social place to hang out, get some exercise, and have a little fun while you're away. 🐕❤️ . Jon was extremely accommodating when I left my dog, Charlie, with him and his dog, Rocco, for few hours. Rocco is a wonderful dog who loves to play, which was great for my puppy. Charlie came back tired and happy, and slept the rest of the day. Would recommend!
Jon's backyard is perfect for dog play-time! Rocco loves to play with other dogs and is a super happy pup. Jon has hosted social time in his backyard before, and all the dogs that come over to play with Rocco really have a great time! Jon has experience in customer service, loves dogs, and is an excellent communicator. Your dog will have a great experience staying with Jon and Rocco.
Jon is one of the best, most caring dog owners I know. He’s very aware of every aspect of his own dog’s life, and is just as loving to every other pup that passes by. He knows that keeping your pet mentally stimulated is just as important as keeping him/her physically fit. Highly recommended.
Jon P has watched my dog numerous times. My dog is always very happy when we get close to his house because he knows he is in for a very fun time. Water is always plentiful and Jon is sure to feed the appropriate food to my sweet dog (away from others so mine gets to eat all of his). Jon has a huge fenced in yard so dogs can have as much room as they need to socialize or just to lie down for a rest when they need one. Jon's dog Rocco is a friendly and sweet pup that gets along with mine and I know that i can be sure Jon is providing the best care for my dog when he is there. I give him ten stars for providing a healthy, safe and fun dog friendly environment. He is simply the best Rover.com dog sitter I have used.

A typical day
Dogs will enjoy playing in the backyard which is fully fenced in and large! My dog will be with yours to play the entire time. They will wear each other out! Rocco is a sweetheart, he has been going to Dog Park’s since he was a puppy and is incredibly socialized. Plays well with others!
