I am semi-retired doing part-time swim instruction and have a sole proprietorship specializing in consulting for low-voltage Wifi, surveillance camera, access control installations, advanced fitness/longevity training and home improvement handyman projects along with hobbies in investment research and writing. I enjoy some gardening, plus doing updates on the house and vehicle maintenance. I have past US military training as a Master Fitness Trainer and corporate, as well as, small business IT/technical experience.

I have a beautifully fenced in backyard that is regularly mown and maintained and semi-organically managed to keep it healthier for dogs than a typically perfectly manicured "Chemlawn." I still pull a lot of weeds by hand, but it's safer for my puppies, that way. They're well worth the effort. 😉Our family has a 7-stage reverse osmosis water system including a natural alkalyzing dispenser to assure great tasting safe drinkable water for all here in this homestead. I grew up in an active military medical family with various dogs from a Lhasa Apso, Shepherd mix, Terrier mix, Golden Retriever, Springers, Border Collie and a Rottweiler. I'm comfortable with many breeds and am a Cesar Millan fan. My wife and I both grew up with dogs throughout our lives and our little Morkie and Maltese are current regular priorities as our furry dog children. We experience much enjoyment daily as we care for our animal family and friends. Let's seize the day, "Carpe diem" and unpack the gift of every day that God so graciously grants to each one of us in this miracle on earth we experience, called life.

I value clear communication. Setting solid expectations and the needs of the owner and their pet is very important to me. My goal is to team up with my clients so that my services and my talents are a perfect fit for their care experience. I will do my best so my patrons can leave worry-free and know that I will provide their furry family member with top-notched service so that their pet will be rested, relaxed and ready for their master's happy return. It's all about making great memories, creating a secure, healthy, harmonious environment. As an adherent and fan of Cesar Millan, I offer a balanced, calm/submissive energy approach for the dogs and good guidance for your pet to be relaxed. You'll leave knowing that solid leadership, experience and care have been provided for your pet's care. My mission is to create that great experience and fabulously tailored "vacation" for your furry family member during my tenure while you take care of your vacation or business. Stay worry-free knowing that your pet is enrolled with loving, trained and knowledgeable care while you're away. I am passionate about my service for each of my clients, both human and animal, striving to be excellent in fulfilling the agreed expectations placed upon me by the pet's owner. Jackson Galaxy video's have been studied, to give my cat clients better care and service as a plus.

I have a well maintained fenced-in backyard and will take time to play fetch or throw a Frisbee, conducting short tussles of playing tug-o-war or other options for the dog, they all have their little personalities and preferences, I offer supplemental petting and belly rubbing time if needed, understanding the traits of many breeds and mixes. I will strive to meet those needs. I establish norms, rules and boundaries as an adherent of Cesar Millan's dog training practices to establish a calm, assertive, balanced approach in my household as the pack-leader and facilitator. I am an honorably discharged US Army Staff Sergeant--clinical dietian/MFT, Chaplain's Assistant and have been trained to lead and inspire. I want my clients to have a great stay and will tailor the activities and care accordingly to their needs to make it happen with experience, care, calm, and positive energy.

Had dogs all in my life since I was a child and took care of them through every stage of their lives. They were special additions to our active military family, fabulous, loyal companions and teachers adding an incredible richness to my life as I was able to add to theirs. Dogs help us and are special gifts from God. They are our assigned four-legged guardian angels helping us to unravel the mysteries of life and teaching us how to really love.

We had such a wonderful experience boarding our miniature dachshund, Bailey! From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in great hands. Jon took amazing care of her and we are really impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Bailey was safe, happy, and well cared for while we were away. We could tell he was treated like family. We’ll absolutely be booking with Jon again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced dog boarder!
Jon is a great care taker for dogs, he treats my dogs and my doggie playmates so well, making them comfortable, he also does daily walks for my doggies and their buddies, our dogs are healthy and balanced as he leads them as a pack leader. He is also aware of the difference of each breeds, so he would provide the right amount of excercise according the dog's strength and needs. I would highly recommend him to any dog owner.
Jon visited daily to look after my cat during an extended trip I had to go on. I was worried since my cat sometimes does not react well to new people but she warmed up to him and he did a wonderful job in taking care of her. Very much appreciated his reliability and pet caring skills.
Jon took care of my Yorkie and maltipoo a few times. He is very experienced, and also likes dogs, playing with them. He has two lil dogs for a long time so he knows well what your dogs need.
