Pet care is my daily and weekly routine I retired from my contracting business after 30 years and now I take care of puppies and dogs all breeds all sizes, kittens and cats as well as horses. I also have several clients with aggressive dogs that I care for and have experience with administering medications. I'm available 24/7 for overnights including all holidays.

When I am chosen to stay in your home to take care of your pet/pets I follow the routine you lay out for your pets feeding, walking, and playing they will not be given unapproved treats. Their bowls will be washed with every meal and I will clean up after your pets and in the areas that I am in your house will look like it was when you left. I will care for your pets and your home as if my own. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and their family.

I would like to know about any personality quirks and if they are afraid of thunder or fireworks or other loud noises, if they have an issue with going out in the rain or bad weather, if they can or cannot be around other dogs or people especially children to make sure that there are no problems while you're away any information that I receive about your pets will be helpful. Also, please let me know where your cleaning supplies are and where your vacuum cleaner is so that I can vacuum the carpets and floors from the dog hair and dirt from coming in from outside along with towels to dry them when we come in if it's wet outside. Please give me emergency contacts and their veterinary information along with any other pertinent information that may be required.

I will take your dogs out where you instruct me to walk them weather permitting and play with them outside if you have a fenced in yard otherwise we will play inside and they will be given lots of attention.

I have been around dogs, cats and horses my entire life I have worked on ranches and farms caring for horses, cattle, goats, sheep and chickens as well as caring for my own animals, 2 Dachshunds, a Black Labrador Retriever she had a litter of 9 puppies, an Irish Setter, an Old English sheepdog, 2 Gordon Setters, a Golden Retriever, a Russian Blue Cat, a Maine Coon Cat, a Mustang Horse and a Clydesdale and started out taking care of neighbors and friends dogs, cats and horses since I was 8 years old feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, cleaning up after them and of course playing with them. Whatever their needs may be. I have several clients that I have been caring for their pets for 30 years and also work for a small pet sitting business in Putnam county NY for the last 5 years.

Jon was amazing! He cared for our five dogs, chickens, and fish. He gave my senior dog daily medication and did diaper changes. Fed the chickens and collected eggs. He also got the mail and the house was cleaner when we got home then when we left. Jon is very personable, professional, and my dogs love him! Got daily updates and pictures too! Prompt response and communication from Jon made me feel very secure and confident. We cannot say enough about this great experience! We definitely recommend Jon for care of your animal family!
Hi Jon G is a friend and neighbour of ours for several years. We wanted to go on a vacation and Jon G offered to take care of our aggressive dog and his passive brother. Jon G volunteered for over two weeks coming to visit Rocky so that they could be used to each other. It worked. Jon G is the only person outside of our immediate family To take care our dogs. Jon does a great job caring for our pets. He is very caring and loving and takes his job very seriously. We have elderly cats that need special diets and medicine and he is great maintaining the requirements for their health! He will also make sure the house is maintained while were away too!!!!! Highly Recommend!!!!
Jon has taken care of my sisters dog on multiple occasions and I would absolutely leave my pets and home in his hands. I’ve seen him care for animals and leave the homes cleaner than when he arrived. He takes his care very seriously and wants the animals and owners to always be happy with his services. He takes them for long walks and plays with them as well. Once your pets meet him, you won’t want to use anyone else in your home again. His past work in security makes me feel like the homes and animals are just as safe as when the owner is home, allowing for a peaceful vacation.
