I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for animals of all sizes and temperaments. These include dogs, cats, reptiles (geckos, snakes, etc), small mammals (hamsters, ferrets, etc), and livestock species such as horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, sheep, and donkeys. I have been a vet tech for four years now, so I have ample experience caring for animals of all temperaments (my favorites are the spicy kitties), and giving medications. I also believe it is important for the pets to keep a comfortable routine, so if your pet has a special nightly routine or special instructions of any kind, I’d be happy to accommodate to keep them more comfortable while you’re away.

Schedule
I'm currently working full-time at a vet clinic, but there is room in my schedule to watch the pups. I would be able to care for your pet any day of the week. There will be a couple days of the week where I work during the day and will not be able to tend to them during lunch but will be able to walk or check in on them in the morning and afternoon.

While checking in on your pets, I don't mind feeding, giving medication, walking, playing, anything they need I will definitely do. I have plenty of experience giving medication if that is something that they will need. If the pet is boarding in my home, they will need to be kenneled while I’m away since I won’t be able to monitor them.
Pets
A typical day
I believe that dogs and cats need mental stimulation and exercise. If your pet has a lot of energy, I may take them for a little run or give adequate amount of play time (as approved by the owner). For the more senior and calm dogs, I will give them plenty of affection and quality time.
