I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, from Poodles and show dogs to Labradors, as well as many cats—each with their own unique personality. I truly enjoy getting to know every animal and spending quality time with them. For the past 15 years, I’ve provided in-home pet sitting for both dogs and cats. I love creating a comfortable experience for pets while their owners are away. Whether that means playtime, or simply providing a calm and peaceful environment, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. I’m especially good with shy or anxious pets and take the time to build trust at their pace. I’m also a great fit for energetic pets who need more engagement and activity. I follow all care instructions closely and am happy to accommodate specific requests to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free.

I provide care in my client’s home so pets can remain in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any specific routines your pets are used to. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, and outdoor areas are secure, and I keep a close eye on pets during outdoor time. I am mindful of each pet’s behavior, energy level, and comfort. I take the time to build trust with each pet—whether that means giving extra attention to an energetic dog or allowing a shy cat the space they need to feel comfortable. I never force interaction and always prioritize your pet’s well-being. I also respect your home and keep things clean, organized, and secure while you’re away. You can expect regular updates, so you always know how your pets are doing.

I was really nervous about hiring a stranger to come in and to care for my 2 cats, but joleene completely put me at ease. She shows up on time and is very much an animal lover. She followed all of the routines that I told her that my cats like. I would definitely recommend her to care for your fur babies!
Joleene has taken care of my cat numerous times. She is a trusty caretaker! My cat adores her and I am always pleased when I return home. She insures my cat is well fed, her litter-box is clean, and that she has been played with and loved. There have been times my cat needs medication and Joleene has made sure she gets it. Schedule
Pet care is a priority in my daily routine, and I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I structure my day to ensure consistent, reliable visits and quality time with both dogs and cats. For house sitting, I provide morning and evening care along with an overnight stay. This includes feeding, potty breaks, and time spent with your pets to keep them comfortable and on their normal routine. If a booking requires extended daytime care, limited time away from the home, daily walks beyond basic potty breaks, or additional visits throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate and will adjust the booking to reflect the additional time and level of care. I always aim to keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible and provide clear communication and updates throughout the stay.
