Hi there! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was the kid who couldn’t walk past a stray without bringing it home and helping it find a loving family. I even spent my summers volunteering at the local pound—until I brought home two sweet dogs who were about to be euthanized (my parents made me stop after that!). I’m the type of person who will stop you on the street just to ask if I can pet your dog. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and I treat every pet I meet with patience, respect, and care. When your dog is in my care, they’ll have my full attention. I don’t spend walks glued to my phone—I stay focused and alert to keep your pup safe and make sure they don’t eat anything they shouldn’t or get into trouble. I always go at your dog’s pace and let them lead the way—sniffing and exploring are a vital part of their mental enrichment, and I respect that! I’m in great shape and walk daily, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. But it’s not just dogs—I love and care for cats, too! Whether your feline friend needs feeding, playtime, medication, or just a little company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or some quality time at home, you can count on me to treat your pet like they’re my own.

I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands. While I’m not able to offer care in my own home, I’m more than happy to look after your pets in the comfort of their home—where they feel most secure and at ease.

Joleen was so wonderful! She was very kind and thoughtful with my huffy Baby girl. It was so sweet to get updates and know our cat was taken care of by someone who is used to other cats like her, and seeing the pictures of Baby playing with Joleen's daughter was sooo cute. 10/10 recommend and I plan to reach out to Joleen in the future when we need help looking after Baby again. I've known Joleen since 2008, and she has always had a way of creating special bonds with animals, especially dogs. She is patient, nuturing, and a true dog lover who will treat your dogs as if they were her own. She always puts the safety and wellness of animals in her care first because she understands how much they mean to you. With Joleen, you can have confidence and peace of mind that your dogs are in great hands and will get all the attention and love they need.
To whom it may concern; Joleen is a responsible, warm and loving person to all she meets. Not only is she compassionate for others, she has an undeniable love for animals. I have witnessed her saving and nursing many wildlife animals back to health before releasing them back into the wild. A few to mention is a Robin, and a wild duck. She has been noted for rescuing stray dogs and cats and finding good homes for them. Worth mentioning, she has in the past volunteered in the animal pound where she could interact with the inhabitants and enjoy them. Her demonstrated ability to make friends with animals is undeniably remarkable.

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom looking for part-time work. My schedule is very open and flexible. I can do walks and drop-in visits on most weekdays/weekends.
