Hi! We’re Joie and Jason — a dog-loving, work-from-home family offering cozy, personalized in-home boarding and day care. We’ve been part of the Rover community for 4+ years. In 2025, we took a short pause from boarding to focus on raising our puppy, Loki. Now that he’s over a year old and we know he’s social, well-mannered, and great with other dogs, we’re excited to welcome Rover pups back into our home! Because we both work from home, your dog gets tons of supervision, companionship, and interaction throughout the day. We have a large, secure yard with a dog door, so pups can safely enjoy indoor/outdoor time (with supervision) and plenty of space to play. 🐶 Our Boarding Style °We host only ONE client family at a time °We board just one guest dog at a time °Your pup gets a built-in playmate in Loki °Calm, structured home environment — not a high-volume boarding house Since Loki shares our home, we’re looking for dogs who genuinely enjoy other dogs and feel relaxed in a social setting. The best fit for us is a dog who: °Is comfortable sharing space, toys, and humans °Enjoys play but can settle indoors °Thrives in a calm home environment without needing strict separation or intensive behavior management We’re thoughtful about the dogs we welcome because making sure personalities and play styles match really matters to us. When it’s a great fit, the benefit is huge — your pup gets personalized attention, real playtime, and a home that feels natural and fun. Above all, we aim to build long-term relationships with the families we board for. We love welcoming familiar pups back, watching them grow, and creating a home-away-from-home that your dog looks forward to every visit. We are currently accepting daycare and 1–2 night stays for new clients as we build new relationships. Our home is best suited for easygoing, social dogs who enjoy being part of everyday family life.

We felt confident while we were on our trip that our Augie was well cared for. Joie and Jason have a nice, calm environment, great for senior dogs like Augie. They sent pictures that assured us our boy was happy.
Excellent. We were very happy with Joie and Jason and their 'special' helper (their daughter). I could tell Prince was very comfortable and we will be happy to use them again when needed!
Joie and Jason are great with our dog, Ranger. They communicate, send amazing pictures that capture our dog’s personality and we feel at ease dropping him off and knowing he’ll be well taken care of. Thank you for taking such great care of him!
Joie and Jason are fantastic! They took the time to have us over for a meet and greet before my dog’s first stay to ensure it was a good fit for all. I really appreciated receiving daily photos and updates while I was away. My dog enjoyed full-time access to their large yard via doggy door! She came back very happy!

Schedule
SCHEDULE We have an ideal set up for dog sitting - Jason and I both work remotely, so we're home with them all day to provide meals, fresh water, exercise & ear scritches! Having a dog door, and large yard they can come and "go" as they please, but we do take at least 1-2 walks per day to burn some energy.

MEET & GREET POLICY We always start with a meet and greet to ensure the humans and pets are comfortable with each other and our space.
Pets
A typical day
We have multiple parks and trails near our house that we frequent with the pups, and a large yard to play fetch, frisbee or just run around! We only take one family at a time to be sure your pups have all of our attention. ETC. We do ask for all drop offs to be after 7am and all pick ups before 9pm, and we require two weeks notice and a meet and greet with all new families to ensure everyone's comfort.
