***HOUSE SITTING REQUESTS PLEASE READ BELOW - MY DOG SITS WITH ME *** Hey there, thank you for checking out my page! I’m Joie ("Joey") and I’m a recent Grand Valley State University graduate in Wildlife Biology and Natural Resources Management with a lifelong passion for animals. I have a dog and cat of my own, and I’ve cared for countless pets through Rover, friends, neighbors, and direct experience at two veterinary clinics. I know your pet’s routine changes when you’re away, so I focus on making the transition as smooth and comforting as possible. Each visit will be more than a quick check-in and includes companionship, enrichment, and plenty of love, plus updates and photos for your ease of mind. If you're interested in booking with me, just know that I'm working full-time (shifts are ~7.5 hours), but as long as we stay in communication, we can work out a plan that suits both of us. I try to be as flexible, reliable, and dedicated to providing the best care for your pets as I can be. *** HOUSE SITTING DISCLAIMER *** Since I have my own dog, she will be coming with me for this service. This might not make me the best fit for every household, especially if there are pets or people who might not be comfortable with another dog in their space. I always prioritize the comfort of your home and pets, so if this arrangement isn’t ideal, I completely understand. Rosie is a 5yo, 50lb high-energy dog who is well-behaved and has been socialized at dog parks and helping me with house sitting. She's a little picky about who she'll play with but she does fine coexisting around other dogs, and cats as well. If you’re interested, we can arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along.
