I’m an experienced pet-care professional and former veterinary technician with years of hands-on experience caring for animals with different personalities, ages, routines, and needs. My background has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, safety, comfort, and the importance of noticing when something just doesn’t seem right. I provide thoughtful, individualized care while keeping pet parents informed and reassured throughout their time away. Whether your pet needs companionship, walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or a little extra patience and attention, my goal is to help them feel secure, loved, and comfortable in their normal routine. Your pets aren’t “just animals” to me, they’re family, and I care for them accordingly. I have a very comfortable two bedroom apartment and I will also take the animals out on walks.

Everything was great. The house was exactly like we left it and the dogs were healthy and happy. One of our dogs is terrified of fireworks and Johnitha managed her with her meds through them all. Very pleased.
Johnitha is a fearless dog whisperer. She stayed with our mutts for nearly a week and made them comfortable in our home while we were out of town. One of our dogs is very distrusting of anyone outside of the family and could be somewhat frightening to less experienced sitters, so it was necessary we brought someone in who wouldn't be intimidated by a mid-sized dog who isnt sure what’s going on. Johnitha even let us meet up with her twice before our trip to familiarize our more difficult pup and establish a bit of trust. Honestly, I don’t think they could have been in better hands and I will be referring her to everyone I know. Thank you so much, Johnitha!
Johnitha stayed at my home with my pets for a week and it went very well! She took great care of my fur babies including administration of multiple medicines for my sick dog. She is very responsive and makes sure to communicate any time she leaves as well and keeps you updated on how things are going. We are excited to continue to work with her and I know the pups are too!

My entire life revolves around animal care and I wouldn’t change a thing I do as I love providing and caring for animals. I believe animals are our babies and we should treat them as part of our family

I provide plenty of walks as needed. I do three, sometimes four walks per day for pets. I have an early morning routine that starts with feeding, administering meds as needed, and walks at least three to four times per day

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs and I do take frequent walks to our nearby park and also around the neighborhood. I also if time allows, train and make sure dogs understand basic commands. (Sit, stay, paw, etc)
