Hi, I’m a lifelong dog lover who works from home with a flexible schedule, perfect for giving your pup plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’ve had dogs all my life, and for the past 15 years, I’ve cared for my own as well as friends’ and family’s dogs when they’re away. We currently have a sweet, social American Bulldog/Lab/Terrier mix who loves to play with new dog friends, so your pup will have a built-in buddy! If it were up to me, I’d have five of my own (but my husband says just one for now 😅), so loving on other people’s pups while they’re away keeps things fun and my heart full. I do always recommend a quick meet-and-greet to allow your pup a chance to explore our space and meet us to make sure everyone feels comfortable. This also gives us a chance to chat to be sure it’s a positive experience for all. Whether your dog wants playtime or a calm, cozy stay, I’ve got you covered!

She is wonderful with our dogs!
Johnette was wonderful and all of our dogs loved her. She was timely, gave extra loving and cuddles, and she put us at ease while we were away. With older dogs, having someone like Johnette come over is so much better than kenneling them. Highly recommend as we will for sure be using her again in the future!

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m home most of the day and able to give plenty of attention to the pups in my care. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine- I love taking breaks for walks, playtime, or just hanging out with a furry friend. Whether your dog needs daytime company, a cozy stay while you’re away, or a little extra love during the week, I’m here and happy to help during the week or weekends.

We have a fully fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for safe play and potty breaks throughout the day. Inside, dogs are treated like family with plenty of comfy spots to relax, or play. Our dog is a 5-year-old American Bulldog/Lab/Terrier mix who’s super friendly and loves to play with other dogs. He’s always been great at sharing his toys and space with others. We typically do slow and intentional introductions in our fenced in yard to ensure it’s a positive and safe experience for all. They’ll then have plenty of room to run and play together during the stay! We also have two kind and respectful kiddos (ages 6 and 8) who have grown up around dogs and love helping care for them when they’re not in school. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels safe and relaxed. Whether your pup loves to play or prefers a calmer vibe, I’ll do my best to make them feel right at home.

Depending on your dogs interests and needs, l’ll ensure they’re happy and comfortable whether it’s running and playing in our fenced yard, playing with toys, going for a walk in the neighborhood or on the nature trail nearby, finding a sunny spot to lay and rest or cozying up by the fireplace in the cold months!
