As a dog owner and sitter, I have high level skills in understanding dog behavior, administering medication if needed, providing basic training reinforcement, handling emergency situations calmly, communicating effectively with owners, and being reliable and trustworthy. Owning two dogs for the past 13 years that have medical needs, I am confident I can provide the care, love, and support your pup needs while you are away. I am fully able to adapt to different personalities and needs of dogs, maintain a safe environment, and display genuine care and affection towards each and every animal.

This is the second time we used John. We are pleased with the way he took care of Esme. I strongly recommend John if you’re looking for someone to take care of your precious pet.
We’ve used John multiple times and is always great with Kona. Recently we needed to give Kona some meds and John handled that for us.
John took excellent care of my baby Chi, Milo. He has special needs (diapers and medication), and John was very attentive to those needs. He also regularly sent me photos with Milo cuddled up happily in John’s lap. In fact, Milo was so loved, when we got into the car to go home, he was crying for John. 🥰 I would highly recommend John if you want special care for your fur baby, and will definitely be using him again. This was our first time using Rover so we were worried. We never had a dog sitter as well. After meeting John T and introducing Esme to him and his dogs, I got a good feeling and felt at ease. During our vacation, John T kept us updated with some pictures and text messages. All went well and Esme appeared to have been handled with care. John T followed our instructions. We are pleased with John T and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.

My sitter standards: 1. Understand the dog's needs: Know their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, medical needs, and any specific preferences or habits they have. 2. Maintain a routine: Stick to the pet's usual schedule as much as possible to reduce stress. 3. Provide plenty of attention and affection 4. Keep the environment clean: Regularly clean their living area and provide fresh water and food. 5. Follow any special instructions: If the dog has specific dietary restrictions or medical needs, I will make sure to follow the owner's instructions carefully. 6. Monitor their health: Keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health issues and contact you if I notice anything concerning. 7. Communication with you: I will provide updates on how your pup is doing and ask for guidance if needed.
