A typical day
When I take care of your dog I will make sure they’ll enjoy plenty of fun and engaging activities! We’ll go on long walks, play fetch and tug-of-war, explore local parks, and enjoy lots of cuddle time. I also love keeping them mentally stimulated with treat puzzles and basic training games to keep their tails wagging and their minds active. Most importantly, they’ll get tons of love and attention every day!

Hi, I’m John, owner of Wise Wolf K9. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for many years, both professionally and personally. My approach focuses on structure, engagement, and creating a calm, balanced environment where dogs can feel secure and enjoy themselves. I share my home with Kano, my Akita, who is well-socialised and accustomed to having visiting dogs around him. Whether your dog is staying for boarding, daycare, walks, or training, they’ll be treated as part of the family and cared for as if they were my own. With a background in coaching and training, I understand that every dog is different. Some thrive on adventure and enrichment, while others simply need a calm, relaxed environment and consistent routine. My goal is always to provide a safe, enjoyable experience tailored to your dog’s individual needs. I am fully insured, DBS checked, and operate under the Wise Wolf K9 name, which reflects my commitment to building strong relationships between dogs and their owners through trust, consistency, and clear communication. John took such great care of our two dogs while we were away. Unfortunately, both of our dogs struggle with allergies, which can cause skin irritation. John quickly picked up on this and added some supplements to their routine, and we've already noticed a real improvement in such a short space of time. He also gave them a bath to help soothe their skin, which was a really thoughtful touch and gave them some much-needed relief. We were away during the heatwave, and it was reassuring to know they were in such good hands. John was sensible with their walks, made sure they stayed cool, and kept them happy and content throughout their stay. It's clear that John really knows dogs and genuinely cares about their wellbeing. He also shared some helpful recommendations with us that we're definitely be looking into, so thank you for that!
