I’ve been caring for cats for over 40 years, and it’s something I genuinely love. Now retired for three years, I have the time and flexibility to give pets the attention they deserve. For the past two years I’ve been part of Cat in a Flat, looking after a range of cats, each with their own personalities and needs. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all ages, and have experience giving oral and injectable medications, always with a calm and gentle approach.

Mark John looked after the boys again this weekend, and they were just as happy and relaxed as last time. MJ is super punctual and reliable, and I feel very happy trusting him with my cats and with my home.
Markjohn was really lovely, very friendly and professional to deal with, and he looked after my two cats really well. He messaged me at every visit and sent photos and updates, and I felt confident that my cats were in good hands. I came home to find the boys happy and relaxed, and everything in order. I would definitely trust Markjohn to cat sit for me again.
John has been absolutely wonderful with Cookie. He is reliable, caring, and always kept me updated, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Cookie recently had surgery, so I was quite anxious about leaving him with someone else, but John was very patient and attentive with all of his needs. I genuinely felt very reassured knowing Cookie was in such good hands. I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful dog sitter 😊
Mark is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter - Suki adores him, and I’m so grateful for the care and love he affords the cats he watches! Even making sure small things like a fallen plant isn’t just put upright, but vacuumed; or the bin being emptied. We are so grateful!
Mark is phenomenal - so accommodating for all the logistics like key drops and meeting Suki, and Mark took lovely care of our kitty and home! Suki is happy as a clam and with a belly full of food already upon my return. Communication and pics daily, which was so lovely. Will definitely book with Mark again and completely recommend him to all!
Mark S looked after my cats over the weekend and I can’t recommend him enough! He came to meet the cats beforehand and was friendly, communicative and a pleasure to get to know. He looked after the cats brilliantly, sent us regular updates and was proactive. We felt the cats were in safe and expert hands, and would recommend Mark to everyone!

Schedule
Currently retired so have much time during the week Monday through to Sunday. I am used to early and late walking of dogs, and can pet sit up to 10pm.
