I’m a retired 55‑year‑old who has spent most of my life caring for dogs from wiggly puppies to sweet seniors needing extra support. Before my wife and I began traveling for five years of full‑time in our motorhome with our two small dogs, Sangria and Tequila, our family had Rufus, our golden retriever. He was truly one of the best dogs I’ve ever known. I cared for him from the day we brought him home as a puppy until his passing in 2014, and that experience shaped the way I approach senior care, gentle handling, and understanding a dog’s emotional needs. During our travels across the U.S., we met incredible people and pets, and I learned how to adapt to all kinds of routines, temperaments, and environments. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and now that we’ve settled in Ocean Isle, I’m excited to offer drop‑in pet sitting for families who want someone reliable, patient, and genuinely loving to care for their pets.
