Farmer Boy Dog Companion!
Hi, I'm John Noden! I've grown up with dogs my entire life on a farm, surrounded by Border Collies and Labradors. My profile photo is with Tag, one of the Border Collies I was lucky enough to grow up with. I've experienced caring for dogs from playful puppies right through to 16 years old, giving me an understanding of their needs at every stage of life. I'm an active, outdoorsy person, so your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. Whether they love adventures or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I live in Springmount Mill Apartments in Stockport, where regular toilet breaks are quick and easy. I also work from home two days a week and can often be flexible with those days, meaning your dog will have lots of company and attention. While I hope to have a dog of my own one day, caring for other people's dogs is the perfect balance for now. I'll treat your dog like they're part of the family and keep you updated throughout their stay so you can relax knowing they're in safe hands.

I’ve known John for almost 25 years now. A lot of that time was spent on the farm, looking after his animals. He has an innate ability to understand them, just like crocodile Dundee. He also happens to be one of the kindest people I know. With these traits he’s an excellent choice to look after whatever animal comes his way.

John is an experienced, caring, and trustworthy dog owner and having grown up with dogs his whole life, he is the perfect person to look after someone’s dog.
John has taken care of our family cockapoo and golden retriever on many occasions. He has a calm, caring and cheerful disposition; alongside being trustworthy, responsible and knowledgable (particularly about dogs and recognising their wants and needs). He is a huge animal lover and is great at building a bond with them. I would recommend John as a pet caregiver any day!

Schedule
I work from home two days a week in a 3D design role, so I’ll be around for plenty of company, toilet breaks, playtime, and attention. I do have occasional Teams meetings, but I can plan my schedule around your dog’s needs. I’m available from around 8:30am through to the evening on weekdays, with overnight stays also available. I can often have your dog stay from the evening before to make things easier.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a secure second-floor flat at Springmount Mill in Stockport. I have a small balcony which is safely fenced off with bamboo panels, and I’m happy to make sure it’s not accessed if needed. I can provide a comfortable and safe space for your dog and can fit a crate in my flat if your dog uses one. I’ll always follow your instructions and adapt my home to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.
A typical day
I live in Stockport, with plenty of parks and green spaces nearby, so there are lots of opportunities for walks and exploring. I also love taking dogs on new experiences and exploring different places, allowing them to enjoy new sights, smells and surroundings to keep them happy, stimulated and engaged.
