Hi, I'm John - nice to "meet" you! My partner Mario (Albert) and I jointly watch dogs and cats from our Hyde Park home. I'm a full-time work-from-home project manager, so I primarily take care of the coordination. Albert also typically works from home on Mondays and Fridays. Between the two of us, there is a lot of flexibility to care for your fur baby. We both grew up around animals and have previously had dogs of our own. This has given us experience with different breeds and sizes. We currently do not have any pets. We would like to build a rapport with our Rover clients and be their go-to pet sitter! We're looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your fur baby. Although boarding is our most popular service, we also offer House Sitting and Drop-In Visits through Rover as well (currently on pause for Summer 2025)!

Schedule
I work from home Monday-Friday and Albert typically works from home on Monday & Friday. During the week, there is plenty of flexibility for drop-off, pick-up, and exercise between my conference calls. Feeding can occur 2-3 times daily depending on your pet's routine, and walks can occur every 2-4 hours depending on your pet's routine. It is my goal to keep your pet on their routine as much as possible for them to have a comfortable stay.

It is important to us to develop a rapport with our Rover clients. Your pet's care is our top priority during a Rover booking. We will provide regular updates throughout the stay for peace of mind.
A typical day
If your dog enjoys fetching toys, we'll play fetch. If your dog enjoys going on long walks, we'll take them on long walks. If your dog likes to cuddle on the couch, we'll cuddle on the couch. If your cat likes to be social, we'll make sure they're entertained. If your cat prefers to do their own thing, we'll make sure they're well cared for. Your pet's comfort and routine is our top priority for them to have a comfortable stay with us.
