Pet Care Near Prospect Park 🐶🌿
Currently, my travel schedule prevents me from owning a furry friend of my own but I’d love to take care of yours! When not traveling, I work from home full time and enjoy the outdoors. I live a short stroll from Prospect Park and if your pet has energy to burn, plenty of walks, climbs and runs can fill their days - if your furry friend takes a more relaxed approach to life, a few sniffs around the neighborhood and lots of pats are an option too! This is the 2nd time Lady has stayed with John and Madeleine. They go above and beyond to make sure Lady feels comfortable and care for her when she's sick. She has a sensitive stomach and they went out of their way to make her chicken and rice to help her heal. In addition, since we were still traveling, they helped us drop off Lady at the next sitter. Their kindness is very much appreciated and we 100% trust them with our baby girl.
John and Madeleine were fabulous sitters for my sister’s dog and mine. They sent thoughtful updates throughout the stay and our dogs came back happy and healthy. They were very kind and easy to work with.
This was our first time leaving Willow for such a long stretch of time, and our first time leaving her with John and Madeleine, and we couldn’t have been happier! They were so kind, caring, and understanding, and went above and beyond to keep us updated with detailed messages and photos every single day. We never once felt like we were bothering them by giving them extra details or asking how she was doing. We truly felt that Willow was getting as close as she could to the experience of being with us. They took the time to really get to know her, understand her quirks and special personality, and give her the individual attention and care she needed. We are so appreciative of how lovingly they cared for her and would absolutely trust them with her again.

Mango loved his stay with John and Madeleine! They were super nice and communicative each day, sending us updates about all the fun walks Mango got to go on with them, along with lots of great photos. He was super happy, comfortable, and relaxed upon pickup. Would highly recommend and would love to have Mango stay with them again in the future!

Schedule
I work a flexible full time schedule, working from home. My wife works from home a few days a week. We are happy to adjust our schedule to ensure your furry friend feels at home.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a third floor walk-up with plenty of space. If your pet struggles with stairs we can safely carry any dog up to 30 pounds. My wife and I have no children or roommates. We are familiar with all local vets, pet groomers and the cafes that offer dog treats.
A typical day
We love taking dogs to both Prospect Park and Mount Prospect, both just a few minutes’ walk away, either for on-leash or off-leash fun depending on the dog and what they (and you!) are comfortable with. We also love to give dogs enrichment activities at home, whether that is a kong filled with their favorite fruits and nut butter, structured tug and fetch, or training work.
