Pet care is part of my everyday life. My two Dalmatians are family, and every guest dog is treated the same way with plenty of playtime, exercise, potty breaks, enrichment, cuddles, and one-on-one attention. I have a flexible hospitality schedule, and when appropriate, guest dogs are welcome to join me at my dog-friendly workplace in East Boston, so they’re never left alone. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and right at home throughout their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a loving home environment on three peaceful acres in New Hampshire, where dogs have plenty of room to explore, play, and relax under supervision. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and designed to make every guest feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, and any special needs before their stay. I closely supervise all interactions and introduce dogs thoughtfully to ensure everyone gets along. My two friendly Dalmatians, Dixon and Cora, love having canine guests, and they help create a fun, social environment. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates throughout your dog’s stay, so you can relax knowing they’re safe, happy, and having their own vacation while you’re away.

A typical day
I usually take a long walk around Lake Kenoza located at Winnekenni Castle. The trail is 3 miles. Winnekenni Castle is 5.1 miles from me . If there is a specific location/park that your pet enjoys, I would be more than happy to accommodate. I have plenty of space in my yard for your pet to run around and let there energy out. They will be supervised at all times.

Pet care experience
Your dog deserves a vacation too! Why leave your best friend in a busy kennel when they can enjoy a peaceful, home-style stay on three beautiful acres in southern New Hampshire? When your dog stays with me, they become part of the family. They’ll enjoy plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles, with lots of space to explore, comfy places to relax, toys, and even DOGTV (a favorite of my two Dalmatians, Dixon and Cora!). I also work in East Boston at a very dog-friendly hotel, which allows me to bring dogs with me during the day if needed. They get frequent potty breaks, walks, supervised play in our secure courtyard, and lots of companionship, so they’re never left alone. Every dog is treated like an individual. Whether they love to play all day or prefer relaxing on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You’ll receive multiple photo and updates every day, so you’ll always know how your pup is doing. My flexible schedule also makes it easy to accommodate both planned trips and last-minute getaways. Booking Information • Meet-and-greets are required before every first stay. • Pickup and drop-off should be scheduled within your reserved booking window. • Dogs must be friendly with other dogs, as they’ll be staying with my two friendly Dalmatians, Dixon and Cora. I’d love to meet you and your pup!
Reviews

Thank you John! Our dogs are repeat guests at his house and are always happy to visit

John is very conscientious about dog group dynamics and management which I really appreciate. He reinforces attention and emotional control skills with his daycare charges multiple times a day, and it shows. Also, best photos ever.

John is fabulous and very caring of my old golden retriever.

So so happy with John. Taika loves staying with him, and I feel confident that John manages dog interactions well. I like that Taika has familiar friends in his two dogs, Dixon and Emmitt, as well as new friends in the other dogs that also stay with John. His photos are far and away the best of any Rover daycare we've used. Thanks, John, you are a marvel.
