Hi, I'm John! I’m an animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other pets. I understand that leaving your pet with someone is a big decision, so my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I treat every pet as an individual. Some dogs want a long walk and lots of playtime, while others are happier with a slower walk, some attention, and a comfortable place to relax. I take the time to learn your pet's routine, personality, likes, dislikes, and special needs before you leave. What you can expect from me: Plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise Walks tailored to your dog's age and energy level Feeding and medication according to your instructions Regular photo and message updates Careful attention to your pet's normal routine A reliable and responsible sitter who treats your home and pet with respect I also understand how important communication is to pet parents. I provide updates and photos so you don't have to wonder how your pet is doing while you're away. I work full-time in NYC, but I have availability for walks and visits during weekday lunch hours, and I have significantly more flexibility on weekends. I'm happy to discuss your pet's schedule and see how I can accommodate their needs. Most importantly, I want your pet to have a positive experience while you're away. My goal is for you to come home knowing your pet was safe, happy, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Schedule
I work full-time in NYC, but I’m available for walks and visits during the afternoon lunch hour on most weekdays. Weekends offer much more flexibility for walks, playtime, and longer visits. I’m happy to work with your schedule and your pet’s routine to make sure they get the care and attention they need.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routine, whether that means a walk, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply spending time with them. I’m also respectful of your home and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable throughout my visit. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pet is doing.
A typical day
Every pet has a different routine, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. For dogs, a typical visit may include a walk, potty break, playtime, fresh water, feeding if needed, and plenty of attention. For higher-energy dogs, I'll make sure they get the exercise and activity they need. For older or more relaxed pets, I'll keep things at a comfortable pace. I also provide photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away. The most important part of the day is keeping your pet comfortable and following the routine you're already using at home.
