I am currently caring for my grandmother while she undergoes treatment for terminal lung cancer. Otherwise, my responsibilities are all remote, and I can be present for your pets day and night.

Information John L. would like to know about your pet
With years of experience socializing shelter animals, training "problem dogs", and experiencing the unique personality imbued in each dog, as an individual, I'm comfortable working with any and all animals. If your pet has special needs, tough behavioral patterns, is nervous, shy, or slow to warm up, I can promise you they'll be more than taken care of by patient and practiced hands.
A typical day
Activities include short and long strolls along the water's edge, active play-time, group exercise (jogging, if appropriate for your pet), ear scratches, tummy rubs, and a thorough tour to enjoy the neighborhood landscape of smells.

Going above and beyond for your dog
Pet care experience
Mindful and attentive former pet care worker and dog walker with multiple years walking, training, and nurturing dogs, cats, and wild animals. My record is impeccable and without incident - this is because I understand the importance of attending to a client's every need, constantly prioritize safety in what is, by nature, a volatile field, and have a deep appreciation for the behavioral needs and individual personalities of the pets I take care of and connect with. I love dogs. I've loved them all my life. And I understand that the second I walk into your home, leash in hand, I am responsible for the well being a loved and dear member of your family - and I treat them as if they were my own.

Another trustworthy sit with John! Thank you for always taking such good care of our pets and home. Your regular communication is always appreciated and we look forward to your next sit in a few weeks!

John went above and beyond for our Rose while we were out of town for 9 days during the holidays. Always taking the time to make sure rose was comfortable with him, took her on longer walks, was consistently on time so she could stay in her routine. I’d love to work with John again!
Our pets were very privileged to have John as their sitter and companion for eight days. John offered to arrive in the very early a.m. to comfort our pets prior to us departing. He paid perfect attention to instructions for each one's unique routine - 1big GS dog, 1 lil special needs dog, 1 chill tuxedo cat, and wild birds. He took the many necessary steps to keep our lil dog with back issues safe. John dependably texted and sent us pics. He left our home in perfect shape. Our pets really felt loved while we were away.

Thanks again for taking such great care of our house and fur family! Your updates and photos gave us peace of mind. Thanks for going above and beyond!
