Dog Loving Host w fenced in yard
I’m a lifelong dog person currently in Pawtucket, RI offering a cozy home, lots of walks, and a fully fenced yard. I grew up with dogs (poodle, terrier, and mostly pugs) and also shared a Brussels Griffon for several years, so I’m very comfortable with different sizes and personalities. I currently get most of my dog time by sitting for family and friends. I give preference to longer stays because it allows me to build a real bond with your dog and give them a more consistent routine. With more time together, they settle in and get more comfortable. If you’re planning a trip of several days or more, I’m an especially good fit.

John was excellent with our two dogs! We couldn't have asked for a better experience - John was very accommodating - transforming his house a bit so the dogs were comfortable and able to stick to their routine, he was very thorough with instructions we provided, and he gave us updates throughout our trip so we could put our mind at ease knowing they were being well cared for. You can tell he's a guy that loves dogs!
Amazing, only good things to say. We were caught in a blizzard and John watched our dog for an extra day at no cost. Great communication.
John is phenomenal. He treated our dogs like they were his own and I think they put him through the ringer. It's clear to see he's an animal lover. John was very easy to work with and just an easy going person. He checked in with us - asked us if certain things seemed normal with their behavior and sent us videos of them. 1000% would recommend John.
John was incredibly accommodating and was able to set my mind at ease, having to leave my dog for a week. My dog had surprise surgery just a few days before I had to leave and John still took her without hesitation, cone and sutures and all! He took great care of her and she came back happy and healed! I’m so appreciative of everything John did and I know my dog was equally appreciative of his companionship and kindness!
John is a responsible, courteous, and most importantly- a dog lover. He is always on time and enthusiastic about taking the dogs out for an adventure. My dogs cannot wait to see him.

I work from home with a flexible schedule so can spend a good amount of time with your dog for walks and following their schedules.

I have a fenced in yard to use in addition to walks. I don't have any rules about not being able to get on furniture (but if you do, will follow them of course).
A typical day
Would follow whatever their routine/schedule happens to be already with meals, walks, etc. But tend to give them lots of time and attention in general.
