Dog lover who just lost my dog.
Please read my full profile. I have had dogs for the last 24 years, but just lost my 15 yr. old Malamute so I'm looking to share my love of dogs. I'm very active and dogs with good recall would gets off leash walks in the woods - others would get neighborhood leashed walks and visits to dog parks. I live in the central westside surrounded by lots of parks. Ive been dogsitting on Rover since 2017 and have done a lot of dog sitting for friends over the years. And while I would prefer active dogs, I have experience with senior dogs and will happily provide quiet loving time for senior dogs as well. I was a founding and long time board member for Dogpac! and actively advocated for off leash access for our 4 legged friends. I am in travel mode these days, so short notice dog sitting works the best. IF YOUR REQUEST IS MORE THAN A MONTH OUT I WILL PROBABLY DECLINE. And please fill out your dogs profile before asking me to dogsit.

John was easy to arrange plans, relaxed on drop off and seemed to be a very good fit for what we were looking for. He sent photos of our pup while we were gone and was quick to text responses for questions and pick up scheduling. THANK YOU JOHN.

I have a small fenced yard and a doggy door to give your pup freedom. I also take dogs with me whenever possible (even when doing errands).
A typical day
For dogs with recall, off leash walks in the woods or desert- or leashed walks through the neighborhoods and parks in Bend (and off-leash areas).
