I have just moved back to Sutton Coldfield from Bristol and am working part time at the moment. I have done regular and as hoc dog sitting and dog walks for several years in Bristol and Bath, and am looking for one or two more furry friends locally.

Pet care experience
I have several years' experience caring for and walking dogs, and have regularly looked after a number of dogs, including visiting them at home during the day for companionship, feeding, and exercise. I only walk one dog at a time, allowing me to give each dog my full attention and tailor walks to their individual needs. I am comfortable working with a wide range of dogs, including those that are anxious, nervous, or require a little extra patience and reassurance. I am also happy to continue any lead-training routines already in place and can help reinforce good walking habits, including reducing pulling and encouraging calm behaviour on walks.

John was absolutely fantastic with Henkka. From the very beginning, his attention to detail was fantastic. He took the time to truly understand his personality, how he reacts in different situations, and what commands he knows and responds to. So i knew every walk and activity was perfectly tailored for Henkka to have the best time. John also kept me updated and checked in regularly throughout the stay. Seeing photos of how much fun Henkka was having completely put my mind at rest while I was away. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter and walker, would highly recommend him!
John is, quite simply, one of my dog's favourite humans! We have known him for several years, and he has regularly taken my dog for walks, as well as looking after her when I have been on holiday. I know she is always completely safe and happy in his care. Many of his other friends and family members have likewise relied on John to help with their pets. He has a genuine affinity for all different kinds of dogs, from nervous rescues to cheeky puppies - I don't think he's ever met a dog he didn't love, and he's really mindful and appreciative of their different needs and personality types. As a long time Rover user, I know that trusting your dog to a new walker or carer is a really important decision. I can recommend John 100% - I just wish I still lived close enough to keep booking him myself!
