Hello there! Thank you for taking a moment to review my profile. I'm John...a liifelong pet owner, handler and caretaker of our lovely family additions. AKA member and SCCAS local volunteer. My passion for pets began at an early age, as my family bred and trained show dogs. Over the years, I've had a wonderful experience of owning and learning a variety of breeds. Be assured that my understanding of our furry friends will be handled with the utmost professionalism and care. My goal is to provide an exceptional sitter experience, complimented by ease and comfort.

I can provide In-Home Care, whether daily or overnight. My time spent with your pet can be discussed regarding walks, play time, feeding and potty routines. Expect care, concern and attention to detail during my sitting- with a little fun and TLC!

Hey John, I can’t thank you enough for the time you dedicated to caring for my Kylie, especially on such short notice. You are truly a wonderful person! Kylie can be a bit hesitant when it comes to meeting and interacting with new people, but your love for animals and natural leadership shone through. You carefully listened to all my instructions, and with your extensive experience with different breeds, you managed to win Kylie over in no time—I was genuinely impressed! You even went the extra mile, taking Kylie to the dog park almost every day, where she made new friends and even met new people which helped her to be more confident. I wholeheartedly recommend you—100% professional and caring! Good luck in Cali- we will miss you!
Let me begin by saying that my dogs are my children and I treat them as such! I am very critical of who I allow to care for them. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend John as I was lucky to find him in the listings. He treats my dogs as if they were his own. He is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My dogs adore John, and that means everything to me. It is apparent from the moment you see his interactions with your dog that it is not just a business, he is a true dog lover. In addition, his knowledge regarding aspects of canine care is extensive and helpful. The peace of mind in knowing that my dogs are well cared for is priceless.
John has been the best! -Our puppy, Ben, loves him and knows the sound of his truck in the morning. We appreciate his maturity and professionalism handling Ben -- we don't have to worry at all about our dog while we're at work and are at ease knowing John is visiting with him and taking the very best care of him. John has taught Ben to fetch and come when hes called! He's dependable, reliable and trustworthy. Ben's got the very best of care with John! Wonderful, caring service...you can't get that just anywhere... Thank you!
I was very happy to have John over the past 2 years, he is a true dog lover and took amazing care of my two dogs. I'm sad to hear he's leaving for California! I own two Shih-Tzu's. One is slightly difficult to handle but, I had no worries with John. He quickly provided a safe and comfortable space for both my dogs to get to know him early on. Their tails immediately wag upon arrival and offer up belly rubs! John has provided some valueable information regarding good nutrition and training tips. Thank you for "Peace of Mind" while I've been at work and during travel. Good luck John! Highly recommend, A+

Schedule
I have recently moved back to the Santa Cruz area, semi-retired working part-time remotely. This provides for an extremely flexible schedule to offer pet services while fulfilling a personal joy. Recently volunteering at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, SCCAS.
