I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. I especially enjoy providing for large dogs, high energy dogs, and groups of dogs. When a close friend adopted a rescue with some behavioral issues, I offered to train and care for her new best friend. She was an aggressive leash puller and squirrel chaser with severe separation anxiety. Under my patient, methodical care she became a happy, calm, confident loose leash walker who is content to be left alone for hours. Dogs require mental stimulation. Depending on the circumstances I may keep your dogs entertained and stimulated with playful, positive training during house sits.

John was absolutely great! Our cats are very shy and spent most of the time hiding under the bed, but he made sure to try and coax them out and make sure they were ok anyways. They ended up coming out to get some pets from him. If we ever need a sitter again we're definitely going to trust him with our cats! Thank you John!
John was once again wonderful with Ozzy. He sent lots of pictures and kept us informed on all the household stuff. Several of the neighbors think he is wonderful too. Ozzy got lots of attention and one on one play every day. Thank you John
This is our second time having John sit for our dog, Vito, and we couldn’t be happier. John had Vito engaged and playing most of the day. He truly cares about dogs and knows how to match their energies. His daily videos showed how comfortable and fun Vito was having. When our flight was cancelled last minute, John offered to stay an extra night until we could get the next flight home. We came home to a tired and fulfilled dog, and a very clean home. We feel so lucky to have found John as a sitter and we will book him again if he is available.
John was absolutely amazing with our 3yo rescue Vito. Vito can get nervous with people he’s not familar with, but John went above and beyond to make Vito feel comfortable. Since we don’t have a backyard, John took Vito to a nearby park everyday for several hours and played all sorts of games with him. He sent very thorough updates with numerous videos/pics, giving us peace of mind Vito was relaxed and having fun. He even worked on some loose leashing training with him. We are booking John again in the future and strongly recommend him!

Schedule
If you desire all-day care for your dog, I can easily arrange this. For example, some clients have asked for constant monitoring for health issues, bathroom breaks frequently throughout the day, and four walks a day instead of one. For meet and greets I'm usually available between 11 am and 8 pm.
