I’ve had dogs in my family since a very young age, looked after family and neighbours dogs of different breeds. Good for walking, feeding and looking after.

John is absolutely fantastic. As Zen is a rescue it’s important to me that he stays in a home environment and I couldn’t have more piece of mind than him staying with John. I feel confident that he is very well looked after and I’m able to switch off and enjoy my time away without worrying if he’s ok.
Fantastic! It was a last minute booking with no time for a meet and hand over, but instructions were followed with care and my pup was a very happy sleepy baby after his time with John🥰
John and his dog, Finn, were great hosts! We got daily updates and pictures. Would recommend.
Barnaby had another stay with John, Harry and Finn, he had a great time. John was great at updating us with pictures and about how Barnaby was. He’s come home a very happy dog!! I’m sure he is looking forward to his next holiday with them.
We’ve been using Rover for nearly 6 years, during which time have had some great sitters, but John is the best! He has a lovely home with a big garden which our Nelly had a blast running around in (sorry about the flowerbeds!!) with his gorgeous dog Finn, and has made it such a loving environment for any dog who stays there. There are lots of nice walks around his home, and even a pen where dogs can have a proper run off the lead. We received lots of updates and photos, and it was clear from the start how much he loves dogs and how well he looks after them. Thanks John!!
Barnaby had a fab time with John, Harry and Finn and we are so grateful we found them on Rover! Barnaby was treated like one their own, and settled in really well in their home. Barnaby had a fab time and I’m sure he is looking forward to his next stay already ☺️

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and here at the weekends if no plans. I’m at work Thursday so would be left alone for a little while. My partner is also on hand to help and we tend to walk Finn and other dogs together.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden so your dog is safe to roam and have fun, they can have full rein of the house, if they need a crate, we have space and can do this. We do have a fox red Labrador ourselves so your dog would be in company of another dog. We also have a secure fenced off dog pen where we live for plenty of fun and running around safely and to enjoy.

A typical day
I love to take dogs out and stimulate their minds with fun games of playing ball etc, sniffing new areas and meeting new people along the way.
