I’ve had dogs in my family since a very young age, looked after family and neighbours dogs of different breeds. Good for walking, feeding and looking after.

Barnaby had a fab time with John, Harry and Finn and we are so grateful we found them on Rover! Barnaby was treated like one their own, and settled in really well in their home. Barnaby had a fab time and I’m sure he is looking forward to his next stay already ☺️
Barnaby had a great time with John and Finn! We were kept regularly updated and John also sent us pictures of Barnaby enjoying himself
The worry I had about leaving Zen is that he has spent much of his life in kennels as a racer and then between different failed rehomings. I couldn’t have asked for more with John. John listened to my concerns (not that I needed to have any with John) and gave Zen the care he needs. I could not rate John highly enough. I will definitely be rebooking

Alfie has had another fantastic stay. I get dragged to John’s’ house, don’t even need to which house I’m going to. I get updates on how he is doing throughout the day.Alfie loves spending time with Finn, I can’t recommend them highly enough, and nothing is ever too much trouble
Hovis is back from another enjoyable day with John, Harry and Finn where he is always looked after well. His wagging tail on their doorstep this morning always makes me assured he is in good hands.

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and here at the weekends if no plans. I’m at work Thursday so would be left alone for a little while. My partner is also on hand to help and we tend to walk Finn and other dogs together.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden so your dog is safe to roam and have fun, they can have full rein of the house, if they need a crate, we have space and can do this. We do have a fox red Labrador ourselves so your dog would be in company of another dog. We also have a secure fenced off dog pen where we live for plenty of fun and running around safely and to enjoy.

A typical day
I love to take dogs out and stimulate their minds with fun games of playing ball etc, sniffing new areas and meeting new people along the way.
