Happy to care for your fur baby!
Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)!

Donna and John were kind, easy to coordinate with, and have an amazing back yard! Milo came back happy and healthy.
I left my pup with John and Donna while on vacation. This was the first time with them and my pup gets a little anxious when I leave as she was a rescue. I received messages to let me know how she was doing and she was so relaxed and content when she came home that it was like I hadn't left her for a week. I felt that they really cared for her and would definitely try to leave her with them again when I need doggy care. Thank you for putting my mind at ease!

I recently left my Boston Terrier, Mia, with Donna and John during my vacation to Sicily for 11 days. Had not used them before, but after our initial meet and greet I felt confident they both had Mia’s best interest in mind and they genuinely love taking care of dogs! I was able to relax while gone and knew Mia was in a good place and having fun. Will definitely use John and Donna again !
Teddy had an amazing time at Donna and John's and I feel so lucky we found them! Ted loved their gigantic back yard and looked like he was busy and happy the whole time. Perfect experience.
Great communication! Our boy got along well with other dogs they boarded. He didn’t cry as much as usual when we picked him up. We will definitely use John and Donna again!!

Schedule
We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.
A typical day
We live right across from Maudslay Park it is a great place to walk the dogs we watch. We will also play ball or frisbee in our yard! Sometimes we even go for a ride to the beach!
