I will care for your pet like it was my own Dog! I will make sure to follow any food restrictions and house rules. I will make sure your dog is comfortable in anything we do and hope to help them desensitized as needed! I love building that trust and confidence in dogs when it’s possible. Using my expertise and extensive dog training experience, I can read dog body language and will make sure if it’s appropriate and safe to engage other dogs. I will make sure to avoid any engagement with other dogs/people as instructed especially if the dog is reactive to ppl/dogs. It gets real hot here so I will monitor temperature through the day to ensure if your dog can go for longer walks or shorter ones. Keeping your dog safe and comfortable is my #1 priority!

I would like to know any food allergies and any known triggers we should avoid such as other dogs, people, certain places and action/activities. What motivate your dog such as what treats, type of play and type of praise should be used. What commands/training your dog already knows so I can properly handle and care for them. The more information the better. I'd love to get to know your dog in anyway possible to provide the best possible care and experience!

Each dog is different so I will make sure to do what your dogs enjoy! I can walk for older and lower energy dog or jog/run for higher energy dog! I can play fetch and tug-a-war with your dog as well and can keep up with all sizes. For mental stimulation, light obedience training throughout with plenty of rewards (praise, treats and play) that's appropriate for your dog. I will be walking where your dog is familiar with. If there's a park near by and your dog is comfortable with that area, we will definitely go there! I'm open to exploring other areas too and will make sure your dog is comfortable and safe as we explore.

I am a CPDT-KA certified professional dog trainer with 5+ years of dog training and services. I work with reactive dogs, basic obedience and on-walk leash manners! I grew up caring for many dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve trained my own dog for the last 6 years who has fearfulness so I know first hand how much patience and extra care is needed to handle a dog. Each dog is different and understanding how to motivate and make them happy is a passion of mine. I would love to use my many years of experience and passion to help care, and train other dogs.

John is an excellent communicator and really cares about you and your dog’s needs and will do what it takes to make sure they are well cared for under his service. Also, he gave great tips on how to handle my dog reactivity and basic obedience! He was able to show me some of the techniques in a matter of minutes which was very helpful.
Thanks John for all the fun videos and photos of my dogs. I kniw they are in good hands. John's ability to work with and handle my Rhodesian Ridgebacks is outstanding.
