John has taken care of our two poodle mixes multiple times now, and goes above and beyond every time. He knows our girls and is kind and loving towards them, understanding their anxiety issues. John has great communication, and responds quickly. We have complete confidence in him, which makes it easier to leave our girls when we go out of town, knowing that they are safe and getting the best care. Highly recommend him!
It's always a sigh of relief when John is available to sit and care for Olga. She's crazy about him, and I like his frequent communication and wonderful pics!
John is basically family around here. Olga is so at ease with him; he is a very thoughtful house guest, too. The neighbors all know him and tell me they saw him looking after Olga. The guy takes excellent pics, and is good at checking in with any questions. John is a great, reliable dog and house sitter!
We are so grateful that we found John this year! This was his third stint taking care of our two dogs—one of whom is very reactive—and he has been kind, caring, and assiduous in his attention to them each time. He’s gotten to know them and they him, and there’s a great comfort level in knowing that John will be with them while we’re away. He is thoughtful, flexible, trustworthy, and has a positive outlook. He has excellent communication skills, always prompt in responding as well as sending updates and photos! For this trip to China, I checked on John’s availability before booking airline tickets and hotels—he has instilled us with such confidence that he’s a deciding factor! (And the house is spotless when we get home!)
John was a very reliable catsitter while I was out of town for a long weekend! He was a great communicator and I came home to a happy and healthy cat. Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.
This was a short trip and i'm so glad John was able to look after Olga. She loves him, I know she's in skilled and reliable hands, and I love the pics he sends to me!

Schedule
I am very flexible and can get to anywhere in this city by bike, metro, and bus. I am half-time WFH so if extended stays at your home are needed we can likely arrange something. I'm an early riser, too, so I can easily squeeze pet care intoy routine.

When dog sitting at my house I have a fenced in front and back yard (3.5' and 6.5' tall, respectively), and live near 2 parks and one of the most walkable neighborhoods in all of DC! I love to brush pets and do training exercises when possible
