I work full-time Saturday through Wednesday. I am more than happy to provide pet care during weekday mornings and evenings, weekend afternoons/evenings, and the occasional full weekday.

As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel that your pet is receiving safe, attentive care from their sitter. You can trust that I will follow your care instructions to a T, and you will receive photo updates and responsive communication from me. Your pet(s) will be treated with respect and affection. I will also be respectful of your home, whether house sitting or doing a drop-in visit.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, dietary or medication requirements, quirks, or any other relevant information. What is your pet’s energy level? Does your dog do well on leash? Do they require a harness? How does your dog behave around other animals and people? What is your dog’s bathroom routine? Can he/she be crated?
A typical day
For cat drop-ins you can expect wet and/or dry food feeding, topping up the water bowl, litter box check, and lots of pets and playtime. I can also administer medication and clean up after your cat(s) as needed! For dog care, your pup can expect a fun walk with lots of time to stop and sniff! I will keep your dog safely leash restrained and walk them according to your direction. I also recognize the importance of playtime and other forms of mental stimulation.

Pet care experience
I have provided loving care for cats and dogs for more than two decades. I grew up with multiple cats and a large dog in the house (along with various fish, hamsters, and a guinea pig!). For years I enjoyed daily walks with our German Shepherd mix. Today I'm a proud cat dad to two rescue kitties that mean the world to me. John (goes by Jack) took wonderful care of our two cats and I really appreciated that he actually spent some time with them. Our older one has a multi step feeding process which can be annoying at times, but Jack did great with it. He even went above and beyond to ask for the vacuum to clean up the litter that is kicked across the rooms. Will definitely ask for his help again in the future
Jack has been absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Birdie and Lucia. From the moment they met, Birdie didn’t even look back once she started walking with Jack, and she’s thrilled after every walk. Jack is very in tune with our dogs’ different personalities and needs, and we are so grateful to have someone so kind and trustworthy to care for our pets.
John was an excellent sitter for a last minute request for my two sensitive kitties! He was super communicative with me and attentive to my little guys, and went above and beyond to ensure that they felt secure and comfortable during his visits! This helped me to feel super at ease while away. If you want a very reliable and kind sitter, I would definitely book with him. 😁
