Please note: I will not be able to do long-term stays (longer than 5 days) for housesitting until next year. Shorter housesitting stays (5 days or less) and drop-in visits (no restriction on length of booking for these) I will be able to do. Also, I will have to leave for a few hours at a time on weekdays for classes, but on weekends I can usually provide constant care.

I am more than willing to give your animals lots of play time. I love lengthy walks, so if your dog is accustomed to longer walks, let me know! I also love cats and kittens.

There have always been animals around growing up. Experience with chickens, dogs, cats, and some experience with fish. I love and am loved by all animals!

My second time booking John for drop in visits with my 2 cats. Really appreciate his great communication and thoroughness. He showed a lot of care and patience with my cats, even though they're extremely skittish and spent most of the time hiding. Definitely recommend John for any of your pet care needs!
John was a superstar house and pet sitter. This was the first time we used Rover and the first time we have ever had a house sitter, and John made us feel at ease right away. He is extremely responsive and responsible. He is detail oriented and he took excellent care of our home and our house full of animals- our kitties, fish, and our recently rescued pup. He went out of his way to check in with us and send cute photos and updates while we were away. Most importantly, John was so patient and kind with our new-to-us pup who needs a lot of TLC. We highly recommend John!
John took great care of our little old dogs with various issues and peculiarities. He was a great houseguest as well and I’ll be booking him again the next time for sure.
