I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me. I’ve trained puppies, managed all kinds of personalities, and I’m comfortable with everything from litter box care and cleaning to playtime and calming anxious pets. I’m patient, observant, and I love learning each pet’s unique quirks, whether that’s a dog who needs a little extra reassurance or a cat who pretends not to like attention (but actually does). I’m also experienced with administering medicine and providing gentle, reliable companionship while you’re away. Your pets deserve someone who truly cares, and that’s the kind of care I bring every time. The latest that I’m available for drop ins is 6:30pm.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’m experienced with introducing and integrating animals, and I’m completely comfortable keeping pets separated when that’s the safest or most stress-free option. I pay close attention to body language, routines, and energy levels so both cats and dogs feel secure and respected. Whether they’re shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I’ll follow your instructions closely and create a calm, reliable environment every time I visit.

John was flexible about when we started and ended, since our travel departure and arrival home was dependant on airline seat availability. He seemed to establish a rapport with our cat. She is a long hair, and needs to be brushed daily, and was well groomed when we arrived home. John also sent multiple photos of our kitty daily, never less than three. I would highly recommend John for your pet!
John did a fabulous job watching my pets. He made it so easy and took on my last minute booking.
John is amazing! He is very communicative and takes great care of my cat Oliver. He sends lots of pictures and updates. Will definitely be using him again!
John went above and beyond to make sure my cats were comfortable with him! I have a shy diabetic cat who requires insulin injections. When she was hiding, John spent extra time with her to make sure she was comfortable. I will absolutely be booking him again in the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time while I’m going back to school. I’ve got plenty of time and a flexible schedule to give your animals the care they need, even if it’s last minute. I work Sunday and Monday but I can check in with your pets before and after work on those days.
