I currently have a very flexible schedule and work from home Monday-Friday, so I have plenty of time during the week for afternoon walks in addition to morning visits or afternoon/evening. I have plenty of availability on both weekdays and weekends. I am more than happy to answer any scheduling-related questions you might have!

I've always had a dog growing up and love them more than most people (haha). I frequently take care of dogs of various ages for friends and family when they go out of town or are extremely busy, including my sister's puppy daily for months after she first brought her home (she was finishing medical school). I've also taken care of a very active Rover Sitter's two dogs that are reactive and walk separately, so I have plenty of experience tackling this kind of situation. They both got three (3) daily walks, breakfast, dinner, and a ton of play time for a few days while their owner was out of town. . I enjoy getting to know dogs and their personalities, so it barely felt like work. I have also worked as an Instacart Driver and in the Real Estate world, so I am more than capable of handling different ways of accessing apartments/condominiums via codes, lockboxes, etc, if that is of any concern. Happy to answer any further questions if necessary!! I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and hanging out and playing with dogs, as I've been waiting, impatiently, to get one of my own (I want to ensure I have the right environment for a puppy before I finally bring one home). So, I'm happy to play with them in your yard, go on walks, or a combination of the two, as well as any specific meal-time or play-time requests.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, and I always had a family dog growing up. For 10 years, I have consistently been trusted by neighbors, family, friends, and even friends of friends to care for their dogs in various capacities. I took daily care of my sister's dog, Charlie (sweetest girl), who is a golden doodle and was a puppy at the time for 6 months. This included three walks per day and feeding her breakfast and dinner, plenty of tug of war and backyard time, as well as treats for being the best girl, but not too many.. I frequently take care of my parent’s dog who is high-energy and high-maintenance (Australian shepherd/poodle mix) who goes on two long walks per day and gets a ton of frisbee time in the yard. I've even taken care of another Rover Pet Sitter's dogs for multiple days, and overnight, while she was out of town, which included three daily walks (each and separately) for her two angels, I mean dogs. They are both a bit reactive and anxious, so I have plenty of experience navigating any possible issues along those lines.

John is the only one I trust to watch my two large, anxious, reactive rescue dogs when I go out of town. He is reliable and trustworthy. He also sends regular photo and video updates, which I appreciate! Seeing how happy my dogs are with him makes it so much easier for me to enjoy time away. I highly recommend John for your pet-sitting needs!
