In The Dog House provides a 1-to-1 premium service for dog care only. We are located overlooking the Port of Mahón. We are a couple who love our canine furry friends. I've had dogs in my life for over forty years. If it wasn't for our regular travel we would have our own Scotties or West Highland Whites in an instant. The next best thing is to look after any breed from other pet owners so we were delighted to hear of Rover. We have a house perfect for dogs of any size, here in central Mahon. We'd love to hear from you if you need a dog sitter. I am a freelancer and I work from home everyday. My partner is a teacher.

John and Sonia were absolutely great. They watched our two Australian Shepherds for a long rainy weekend. We received pictures everyday during our trip which really made us feel so comfortable that our boys were well taken care of. Highly recommend!
I honestly couldn’t be happier with the boarding experience. From start to finish, I felt completely at ease thanks to the regular updates and the genuine care shown to Sonic. Knowing he was not just looked after, but truly cared for, meant everything to me. John and Sonia were absolutely wonderful with him. The love, patience, and attention they gave Sonic really showed, and seeing how comfortable and happy he was brought me so much peace of mind. Because Sonic is an elderly dog, trust is everything — and they exceeded all expectations. I will never hesitate to trust John and Sonia with Sonic again. It was an absolutely great experience, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care they provided.
Taco was the happiest little pup when I came back! I got so many pictures and nice updates, felt like I was leaving my dog in great care. Will definitely reach out again. Thanks John!

Schedule
I edit photographs and need a break from the screen every two hours. Dog walking fits with my schedule perfectly and the house location lends itself perfectly to dog walking.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will never be left alone. When my customer's dogs are restless we head out almost immediately. Our door opens onto a pedestrianised square. When they are resting then they are left to relax...'let sleeping dogs lie!'
A typical day
It's access all areas in our 90 sq. metre house in Mahon. We overlook a pedestrianised plaza and the Port of Mahon. Regular comfort breaks are easy. Longer walks then we have the beach, which is very close.

- I have forty years experience with dogs having grown up with them and later owning my own when I lived in England. My dogs preferred fish, butcher's meat and premium biscuits and not tinned food. Please advise on any dietary requirements if you prefer specific food during their stay.
