I frequently care for dogs and cats for friends and clients, mostly daycare and boarding/housesitting. I raised several dogs from babies through adulthood and have experience with cats. I currently have two sweet dogs of my own - Rosie and Audie! We are a very active bunch and love to be outside. At my home I have a large fenced yard my pups love to play with friends in!

My senior dog isn't the easiest dog to look after for multiple days but John and Caitlin tag team wonderfully. They keep me updated when he's being a picky eater and whether he's getting along with the other dogs. These are my dog's best last years and I feel confident leaving him in their care.
We always prefer John. Mabel loves staying there and loves his dogs too. We never worry when we drive away from John’s place.
John is the best! He's watched our two dogs several times and it's always a great experience. He's very communicative and sends regular picture updates of the pups. Our dogs LOVE going over there and staying! Highly recommended.

Schedule
I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. My partner also works from home and assists with daycare and boarding, so someone is always nearby your pet!

I am committed to taking care of your pet as you would. I am very active and do not mind walking at distance or being outside for exercise. I have administered medication to animals and handled getting them access to veterinary care as needed.
Pets
A typical day
I take my own dogs with me to play disc golf once a week. I like taking walks/hikes at Bent Creek or along the Parkway. I live near a couple of dog parks and enjoy playing outside with visiting pets in my fenced-in yard. I have been very cautious with my own dogs with the canine upper respiratory virus that has been circulating North Carolina recently, and will do the same for any dog under my care. Owner preferences are requested and respected.
