Fun filled day with dogs!
My love for dogs started very early on in life, with the family dog. I simply can't imagine my life without a dog. It only made sense that I turn that passion into a dog walking and sitting business. Also, I love walking and being outside, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and activities while you are away. I've taken care of dogs of all sizes, ages, level of energy. My own dog is a sweet 18 pound rescue. He's a mix of (most likely) Chihuahua and some other dog that runs very fast, because no dog can really catch him in the park and he loves to be chased. Nothing will put a smile on my face more than a group of dogs running in the park! I'm home full time and my days revolve around spending time with the dogs in my care. I love photographing the dogs and writing stories about their adventures and antics, so you'll hear about your dog and get photos while you are away. I am really looking forward to meeting you and your doggy companion.

This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Sunny, with someone I didn’t know. Johanne made time to chat by phone and alleviated any worries I had by sharing her approach and years of experience. Sunny was instantly at ease with Joanne and after a week away from us, came home very happy and at ease. Johanne sent consistent photos and updates which helped our family feel reassured and able to enjoy our vacation without any worry. Johanne was happy to accommodate daily medication for Sunny and provided so much mental and physical stimulation. We are so grateful for Johanne’s support and will definitely book with her again when we need a reliable and experienced dog sitter!
Johanne was caring, responsive, and passionate about the wellbeing of our elderly dog. She provided detailed and frequent updates that left us at ease during Mochi extended stay. I would gladly have Mochi stay with Johanne again.
We have left our dog Soda with Johanne several times now, and she is always so great to work with. She is communicative, and Soda always comes home healthy and happy. Would absolutely recommend Johanne!

Schedule
Pet care is what I do full time so your dog will be in my company pretty much the whole time he/she is here. I take care of multiple dogs at once so your dog will make new furry friends to play with and go for walks with and cuddle with after all the playing.

We go to the dog park at least once a day to run and let loose, and then have plenty of walks around the neighbourhood to read our "pee-mail" and take care of business.

A typical day
I have been walking and sitting dogs for over 21 years. Dogs that vacation in my home get a one hour midday romp in the park daily. We also go out for 3 other walks around the neighborhood to sniff and take care of business, in the morning, around supper time and again before bed. Dogs that come stay at my place quickly learn that my home is a very fun doggy hangout and sometimes don't even want to leave when their people come pick them up. I'm at home most of the time so your dog will seldom be alone. They are included in my activities most of the time. You will come home to a contented doggy!
