Hi there! My name is Johanna, and I have six years of pet care experience—everything from dog walking and cat sitting to overnight care. I grew up in a home with three dogs and two cats, so animals have always been a big part of my life. Now, I have my own fur baby, a one-year-old cat, Sourdough! I love getting outside for walks and would be thrilled to bring your pup along. I work from home, so I am flexible to help with feeding, drop-in visits, or whatever your pet needs. I’m also comfortable giving medication to both dogs and cats and volunteered at an SPCA for two years. More than anything, I want every pet I look after to feel safe, loved, and at home. I’d be honored to meet your furry family member and care for them like my own!

Johanna was absolutely wonderful with both my yellow lab and my cat! From the start, communication was excellent— she kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My lab came home happy and tired from lots of walks and playtime, and my cat, who can sometimes be a little shy, clearly felt comfortable and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing both pets were in such good hands. I would 100% recommend Johanna to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter, and I’ll definitely be using her again in the future!
I would highly recommend Johanna for the role of caregiver to any pet. My dog, a golden retriever, absolutely loved her. When it was time for me to pick Bella up, you can see her thinking do I stay with the girl or do I go home with dad…. She was kind and loving to the dog and would send me pictures while I was at my conference to show what they were doing during the day. Only wish we still lived close enough to leave Bella with her again! 10/10 highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home, so I am very flexible to help with whatever your pet needs throughout the week (day or night)—whether long walks, playtime, or just snuggles and company. I am also available most weekends to do the same!

I follow each pet’s routine closely so they feel comfortable and cared for, whether that means sticking to feeding schedules, giving medication, or matching their favorite walk route. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your furry family member, so I’ll keep you updated with lots of messages and photos.

A typical day
For all animals, my care is full of playtime, fun, and snuggles. For dogs, we can go on long walks, play with favorite toys, explore the neighborhood, visit nearby parks, and of course enjoy some treats and cuddles. For cats, I love spending time with them at their pace—whether that’s interactive play, pets with muffins, treats, or keeping them company so they feel safe and happy.
