Family and friends tell me that I have a special affinity for animals. Dogs have always been in my life. They’ve protected me, grown up and matured with me, and made me a better human being. I’m the person the horse no one else can catch comes to. I love my 5 goats and sometimes take them for walks with Archer, my super people amd dog friendly 9 month-old shepherd mix. I know how to maintain control while also staying calm, patient, and consistent, even in stressful situations. I also look for the fun side of life. It’s important to play. Since I work from home, I happily spend my free time with furry friends of all kinds, both mine and yours.

I live on a couple acres with 5 goats , chickens, a pup and a cat. The goats and chickens are separated from the human/dog yard with a 5' fence. The dog yard is large and grassy. Im home most days and am able to spend quality time with the animals. My dog, Archer is so happy to have guests over and will be so pleased to entertain your pet.

Johanna was wonderful with Koko. She took her swimming in the river and pond and also on a hike. She sent us photos everyday of what she was doing. Koko was a happy dog. We were very happy with Johanna and felt very comfortable leaving her there.
This was our first time leaving our puppy and Johanna was great! Everything was seemless and he came back a tired, happy pup!
Johanna was great! My dog is usually pretty afraid of strangers but took to Johanna quickly. She was very kind, flexible, and communicative. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in the Medford area!

I had the pleasure of having Johanna pet sit for my 2 precious dogs for 2 weeks. It was nerve wrecking to leave them for so long. This feeling passed when I saw how my dogs gravitated to Johanna and interacted with her. I was able to enjoy my trip without worry. Upon my return I witnessed that a bond was formed in that short time. Jenny and Andy adored their new companion. I've been able to travel a bit more since then and Johanna hands down is my reliable and caring pet sitter. It's so true that Dogs can sense good people and end up deciding who they wish to be around. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. That means that my days are often dictated by what my (and your dog) want to do.
