Hello! We are Nanda(Johanna) and Rob. In my younger years, I had clinical experience working in a veterinary setting, which gives me an understanding of animal health, behaviour, and attentive, preventative care. I’m comfortable recognizing subtle changes in pets, supporting medication routines when needed, and maintaining consistency to keep animals calm, safe, and happy. Through our business, WellNest Home & Pet Care, we provide reliable, in-home pet sitting and house care services. We are a mature, responsible couple offering a calm, consistent presence—ideal for pets who thrive on routine, companionship, and low-stress environments. I work alongside my partner, a former Property Maintenance Manager, who brings extensive experience in home care, safety, and property upkeep. Together, we ensure both your pets and your home are fully cared for while you’re away. We have experience caring for dogs, cats, and aquariums, including feeding, exercise, companionship, and maintaining structured routines. We are especially mindful of anxious, senior, or sensitive pets and tailor our care to their individual needs. In addition to pet care, we also provide full home support, including security checks, plant and garden care, and general property oversight—so you can travel with complete peace of mind. We keep your home clean, secure, and well cared for, and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into our routine. We are retired and have a flexible schedule, so your pets will have consistent companionship throughout the day. We focus exclusively on in-home house sitting, allowing your pets to stay in their familiar environment and routine while you’re away. We are also willing to travel for the right opportunity.
