Active,Caring Home in Dog Paradise!
Growing up with dogs and a current Dog Mom of a very active shepherd rescue Olive, I am relied upon by friends and family to care for their pets. I also volunteer and walk Dogs at the Truckee Humane Society so am trained on how to deal with all types of temperaments and ages.

Once again Johanna is a star we were so lucky to have her watch our Bernedoodle last minute over a weekend.
Johanna was our first Rover experience and we couldn’t have been more happy with how it all went . Johanna is super communicative, kind and took great care of our Berndedoodle. She was also very flexible when our schedule changed last minute. We will definitely use her again in the future.
Johanna was great with our dog. She went on plenty of walks and or dog felt comfortable from the second he walked in the door! We will definitely book Johanna again. Thank you!
Johanna is amazing! I highly recommend booking doggy daycare with her. I’m so grateful she was able to take in my pup on such short notice. My boyfriend and I planned a last-minute day trip to Northstar and desperately needed a sitter since our usual sitter was out of town. We reached out to Johanna the night before and received a response within the hour. She went above and beyond by meeting us at Northstar to pick up my pup, which was such a huge help! My girl is a handful, so I was beyond impressed that she slept the entire 4.5-hour drive home—Johanna definitely made sure she got plenty of exercise! Thank you so much, Johanna ❤️

Schedule
My dog Olive and I love living in Tahoe and take full advantage of the access to trails we have behind our home. I WFH during the day and start the day with a long walk or a run followed by multiple walks or trips to the lake latter in the day.

I have a fenced in deck that provides indoor/outdoor space as well as the Tahoe Donner trail system right down from my house. My pup Olive gets along with all dogs and is good company for long walks or chilling at home when we're not out adventuring. I will provide your pup with the active exercise it needs and tons of couch snuggles and company while at home.

A typical day
Being in dog paradise in tahoe, there are so many places to explore! My house backs up to a series of trails in Tahoe Donner and we are also a ten minute drive to Donner Lake and their "dog beach" where she likes to swim and play with other dogs. I am a trail runner and Olive and I usually go on two-three runs/week and at least one big hike on the wknds.
