Hi, I’m Johanna! I’m a dedicated dog lover with over 10 years of experience personally caring for and training dogs. From a young age, I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their unique personalities, needs, and behaviors. I’ve personally trained my two rescue dogs, helping them grow into well-adjusted, social, and happy companions. Because I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide your pup(s) with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve throughout the day. Whether they need frequent potty breaks (we have a doggy door for 24/7 access), playtime, cuddles, or a structured routine, I can easily adjust to meet their needs. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where every dog feels at home. Our spacious home has a fenced-in backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to play and relax. We also have access to parks nearby, making it easy to give your pup extra outdoor fun, exercise and socialization (if you feel comfortable with that)! I welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes and will ensure your pup feels safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. Many of the dogs I’ve watched have become like family, and I’m grateful to share in the love and joy they bring. We are new to the area and needed someone to watch our Yellow Lab, Lily. Jo was available and very accommodating. It a rather rushed introduction and booking but Jo was very flexible and took great care of Lily. She sent pictures of her drop-in visits and Lily was well taken care of. I will definitely be using her again to watch Lily.
Wonderful dog sitter! Very communicative and kept me updated throughout the boarding process. Will definitely come back.
She was very nice and took very good care of our dog who is scared of so many things. She was absolutely wonderful for our dog and we appreciate that she took him in with such a short notice, too!
Bear seemed to be happy, healthy and very well taken care of.
Johanna was friendly and welcoming. Our doggie Miles liked her immediately and didn't even look back at me when Johanna walked him into her house. We met outside, so I didn't see the inside of her house or meet her 2 dogs, but she sent me a cute picture of Miles and one of her dogs cuddled up on her bed.

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! Since I work from home full-time, your pet will always have supervision and companionship throughout the day. They’ll have constant access to fresh water, our secure backyard for playtime and potty breaks, and a feeding and exercise schedule that matches their routine. Whether it’s cuddle time, walks, or structured activities, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for!

In my home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized care for every pet. We have a fully fenced backyard and a doggy door for 24/7 access to the yard for play, exercise or just to sunbathe. Additionally, both our main doors and screen doors add an extra layer of protection, minimizing any chance of pups slipping out. I tailor each pet’s care to their unique needs, following their usual feeding, exercise, and medication routines to ensure they feel at home. Whether it’s supervised playtime, cozy nap spots, or plenty of affection, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay! Your pup will have plenty of fun and adventure during their stay! We live in a neighbourhood that is perfect for dog walks, and near parks for some more playtime. Our backyard is big enough for lots of running and playing as well, with lots of toys to entertain. To make their stay even more enjoyable, feel free to bring some of their favorite toys so they can play in a way that feels familiar and fun. Whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or a relaxing stroll, I’ll make sure they have a fantastic time! I've also found it helpful for them to have an item from home so they can have something from home! Since I work from home, whatever routine you have, I can easily incorporate into my day.
