I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11, starting with my first job helping a cancer patient by tending to their cat. Since then, I’ve looked after pets for friends and family, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and even the occasional bird or fish. I love spending time outside with animals, engaging them in play, or simply offering comfort and companionship. As someone who shares my life with animals, I know how much they mean to us, and I bring that same love, care, and attention to every pet I look after—treating them like family.

Johanna was an excellent sitter choice for my Ramble! She took Ram in like her own and made him feel right at home. Ram also made a new doggie friend with Nikon who welcomed him in immediately! Johanna is very sweet, attentive, and flexible with her schedule making her very easy to work with! I was extremely happy to come home to a happy dog!! I will definitely rebook with Johanna in the future!

I begin every caregiving request by collecting key safety and emergency information, ensuring that I’m fully prepared for any situation. I view each new client as an opportunity to build a strong bond, so I always start with an introduction—ideally meeting in person to establish trust. Whether caring for your pet in your home or at my own, I follow your feeding schedule and routine preferences meticulously. At my home in the country, your pet will enjoy a spacious, fenced yard for safe outdoor play, along with cozy indoor spaces including couches and dedicated pet beds. Each animal has its own area to relax and feel at peace. In addition to daily care, I can offer extra services such as baths, nail trims, and thorough brush-outs if desired. (*If you’re away, I’m also happy to tidy your home during drop-in visits or as part of a full-service care package.) My sole focus is to provide comfortable and superb care. Rest assured, every pet that stays with me will leave refreshed and a with happy heart.

Your pets will get lots of cuddles and attention at my home. I have a large yard where they can play. We can take a nice long walk around the property too.
