It's great to know ahead of time whether a dog goes on really long walks, is super energetic, not as energetic, gets along with other dogs or not, people, children, etc. How to greet the dog when first meeting him or her in case they're shy or aggressive.
A typical day
I live in a quiet residential neighborhood and there are many beautiful parks near my apartment. Walks depend on where the housesitting will take place and the needs and abilities of the dog. I like to walk dogs through the park whenever possible.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog since the age of 10. I am very comfortable around dogs. Growing up, my first dog, a cavalier king charles spaniel, slept with me in my bed every night. We had a very close and special bond. I am a very attentive dog sitter. I love to take dogs on walks and play fetch or any other kinds of games with them. My first dog was a very loving and cuddly dog and I love that about dogs. So many of my friends have dogs and I love going to their house to play with them or help take them on walks. Your dog will never be bored or neglected for even a moment. I have a very flexible schedule and availability. I work part time at home from my laptop. So I have a lot of free time and flexibility to housesit and I am at home almost all day. When housesitting I normally take dogs on three longer walks a day unless instructed otherwise by the owner. Any other routines I typically follow based on the owner's instructions.

Joey did a fantastic job taking care of my two dogs. He made sure they stuck to their routines, sent regular updates and photos, and our dogs were happy and healthy when we returned home. Joey also thoroughly cleaned before he left. We would be very happy to have Joey take care of our dogs again in the future.
Joey was so great! My husband and I were gone for about two and a half weeks and Joey took care of our 3 pups. Although my furbabies are typically easy, one (Hunter) was extra anxious and seemed to have had enough of me traveling so much (I travel once a month for work). He escaped but Joey was super responsive and picked him up from our neighbor who thankfully found him. Outside of that, we would get regular pictures of the babies and came home to a clean and happy pups. Will definitely book Joey again!
Joey was a fine sitter. My pets were safe which is all that really matters but he was not a very attentive sitter compared to most I’ve had. I would have appreciated some updates, photos, etc over the weekend I was gone.
Joey was super easy to make arrangements with, and willing to take on my potentially grumpy boy cat. I came home after 7 days away to a purring cat, and a non-stinky litterbox. Yay!
