Along with dogs, I’m comfortable caring for reptiles, rabbits, birds, and other exotics thanks to my biology background and veterinary experience. I have a large fenced yard and three animal-loving kids, so your pet will get plenty of play, enrichment, and affection. Whether it’s walking, feeding, bathing, or meds, I treat every animal like family — with patience, safety, and love.

My family and I are devastated that our beloved dog, Iggy, passed away during his stay with Joelyz. He was supposed to be in her care for four days but within four hours of dropping him off, he was gone. I cannot recommend her to watch anyone’s dog. I had chosen her for his sitter because she had five star reviews, was a vet tech, and had no pets. Shortly after dropping off Iggy at this sitter’s house, I learned that she actually had 2 dogs. Had her profile reflected this, I would have never chosen her to begin with, because my dog gets very anxious around other dogs. My mistake was leaving Iggy there because she assured me that she would not mingle them. Her experience being a vet tech shocked me because I feel she waited too long to seek medical attention for Iggy’s distress, and failed to inform me sooner, waiting two hours to text me what was happening which by then was too late. Our dog had no acute health issues before I brought him to Joelyz. We took such good care of him, so you can imagine how distraught and angered we were to find out from the vet that he was unresponsive and covered in feces and vomit when he arrived at the animal hospital. Now, my family and I are left with a lifetime of regret and sad memories of that awful day.
Joelyz did an amazing job watching my Yorkie, Harley, over the past few days. From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell he was in great hands. She kept me updated, showed genuine care, and made sure Harley was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly treated like family. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was with someone who truly cares about animals. I highly recommend Joelyz to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Schedule
currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to focus on caring for your pup. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 10 am, and I love filling my afternoons with dog walks, playtime, and snuggles. Your dog will always get plenty of attention, exercise, and care that fits their routine.

I have a large fenced yard that gives pups lots of space to safely play and explore. I also have three children who love company, so your pet will feel right at home and never lonely. I can easily crate your dog if preferred, and with my vet tech background, I’m confident handling special instructions, medications, or unique care needs. My priority is making sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and happy.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and safe! Walks around the neighborhood, gentle play in the yard, or indoor games for energy release are all on the agenda. I’ll give them plenty of belly rubs, affection, and attention, and I can also work on basic training or tricks if that’s something the pet enjoys. Every pet gets personalized care based on their personality and energy level.
