graduate with a passion for animals
My family have always been massive animal lovers and so from an extremely young age i’ve been responsible for and looking after animals from as small as hamsters and reptiles to dogs! I’ve had hands on experience as a dog groomer for a few years too so have worked with dogs all different sizes and personalities. since moving out i’ve had my own pets, mainly rats because they’re just like little dogs - my rats were my wholeee universe - i am desperate for more animals and dog and cat sitting allows me to actually have more pets! as i am a student i am home a lot, i can stay in with your pet and i can ensure they will not be left unattended for long hours - when i do pop out to run my errands the dogs tend to come with me as i enjoy the company. im currently a medical neuroscience student however it’s my life long dream to own a rescue. in my spare time i like to rescue animals (hence the pigeon pic). i love all and any animal!! inc insects i have experience with administering oral medication to dogs (to both my own dog in his senior days as well as dogs i’ve cared for) and am open to administering other forms.

Came to Brighton on holiday with Ziggy for a few days but wanted one day of shopping. I was lucky to find Joely right in the centre of Brighton close to our airbnb. Ziggy clearly had a great time with her getting lots of cuddles and playtime and returned very tired! We will definitely be back.
Joely was lovely with our dog Flynn, asking thoughtful questions in advance of his visit to make sure he would be comfortable and quickly putting him at ease. We also appreciated the message to let us know he was settling in okay. Thank you!

Schedule
i am free most of the time as i’m a student! anytime or day tend to work best for me. it’s rare that i’ll have something on. i do tend to pop out for a few hours in the day weather that’ll be to go uni or get shopping. my partner helps with the dog sitting and is a massive animal lover and tends to have a way with animals! - they always just seem to adore and are drawn to my partner. my partner is vulnerable so please do not book if ill as we cannot afford to become ill!

i do have a back garden that is completely fenced off. i’m near a park too that the dogs like to go to and we often run errands together!
A typical day
since looking taking on a many dogs on here, i tend to spend most my days with the dogs. we love to take them to the beach and walks to the park and out where we go - we usually do a big walk twice a day and leave to doors open to our garden whilst we’re in. the dogs usually tend to come everywhere with me as i really do love having them here. at night we tend to sit on the sofa and catch up on work or watch a movie!
