I was born and raised with German Shepherds growing up. I love dogs. I haven't found a dog yet that didn't like me. I will take care of your pet as if it was my own. While the dogs are at my home, they will not be caged, they will be free to run around the house and let me know when they need to go out as well. Most will let me know if they want to go out to play too. They may be tired when you come to pick them up from my place or even if I sit at your home. Please provide dog food and a crate (If Needed) for your dog. I don't have any breed or size restrictions but do ask they be up to date on vaccines AND flea/tick prevention. I'd like to know of any medical conditions, food sensitivities, and any little traits they may have such as being an escape artist, loving to chew, etc. Feel free to share their favorite things to do so I can make their stay as enjoyable as possible! **** I can also keep multiple dogs from the same family. **** I usually only take one family at a time, I do not book more than one family unless there is a day/hour overlap between bookings. Updates: 08/01/21 - I have security cameras now that you can log into to see me playing with your dog during their stay. No extra costs for this feature. TODAY - I'm always home now. I was laid off on 05/29/26. So now I'm home all the time. I have a fenced backyard. I take care of your dog as part of my family. They are inside with me and ounds.tside to play and go potty. They roam around the house just as I do. I take care of them throughout the day. Feed them as you recommend. I take them out often to play unless I see they get too tired, etc. I always look out for the dogs. I have always updated owners if the dogs ever get hurt and keep an eye out for their health and safety.

We had a such a great experience with Joel! I can’t say enough good things. Our booking was a bit last minute, as we debated on what to do with our rescue pup, Pixie, while when we went away. She had never been away from home since adopting her from the shelter, and we were worried about how she would respond to a new person/environment. Booking with Joel was the best decision we made! Joel took care of Pixie like she was his own. He was incredibly attentive to her needs and took time to learn and understand some of her more quirky behaviors. He played with her a ton, gave her all the attention she needed, and even provided a spot in his lap for her little 50lb self to cuddle up. He updated us routinely on how she was doing, including pictures, and it was clear she was in good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We had a wonderful experience with Joel D.! He took excellent care of our senior golden, giving him plenty of attention and playtime. He kept us updated with lots of photos and videos, and it was clear our boy was happy, comfortable, and engaged the whole time. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would absolutely book Joel again. Highly recommend!

I always look out for the dogs. I always update owners if the dogs get hurt and keep an eye on their health and safety. During the summer and winter, I make sure they drink water if they're very active outside. ****** I will no longer dog-sit Pitbulls and Rottweilers for my own safety! *****
A typical day
I have a nice fenced backyard. I will go outside and play with the dogs to keep them active. I will play with them inside as well, esp if the weather is bad outside.
