I am currently working towards making pet care more of a career as I transition out of my current job. I am a government employee who is looking to make a change in my work life. During the current shutdown, I am available anytime for all pet care needs.

I have just moved into my first home with my fiance! We have a fenced backyard and a nice walkable neighborhood. Inside all of the furniture is dog friendly, so your puppers can snuggle up if they wish or have room to themselves. My number 1 priority is the comfort and happiness of the dog and I will always do my best to provide a safe and fun environment for them.

Your dogs will explore my yard, neighborhood and nearby park. If they are up for it, we will play games in the backyard. Depending on the time of year and your preference, we have a kiddie pool for your dogs to frolic in.

I have cared for dogs since I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. Since then I have volunteered for several years at a wolfdog sanctuary. When I worked at Hawaii Volcano National Park I volunteered to walk the Park hunting dogs and clean their enclosure several times a week. A have dog sat for a very elderly,infirm English mastiff that could no longer stand on its own. I am very experienced in getting puppers to take medication. I have done house/dog sat for up to a month at a time for 2 dogs and 3 cats, making sure they are all fed and entertained. I absolutely adore animals, but particularly love dogs. I am happy when they are happy.

Joel was great! He accommodated our last-minute request and was really quick and clear in communicating with us. He was very sweet and specially bought a toy and treats for our dog. Highly recommend!

Having Joel look after our home and animals takes all the stress out of being away. He’s very attentive, and affectionate with both our dogs, and just might be our pitbull’s favorite person on earth. We know without a doubt that our fur-babies get spoiled with plenty of cuddles and walks when Joel is around. He takes the time to learn your animal’s individual needs and follows even the most meticulous instructions. He’s fantastic!
Joel is easy to talk to and hardworking. It is obvious how much he loves dogs and how attentive he is to every dog in his care. I know that my dog is safe when she is with him, and that he will take the extra effort to account for her specific needs, especially since she is elderly, has health issues, and needs special food and medication. He has a big heart and it is obvious how much he enjoys this kind of work, and it is reflected in how much my dog looks forward to spending time with him. I trust him, and you should too!
